It was definitely worth it for me. The only other option would be to wait until some in the US can figure out how to do it but that might not be for a while.
@@TalonSei Ain't nobody got time to wait! You got me considering the GAS monoball the way you explained it. I have the same HKS adjustables. I heard BM3 is coming out with some better updates that will make it our best options over MHD. Keep an eye out on that. You never considered ceramic coating the high flow downpipe? Should I do that?

Yes, more manual supra's! Love the choices, BL exhaust is what I'm looking at, didn't think about retaining the factory-dampening functionality in the suspension. I do know that KW makes a coilover set that has electronic dampening control, not sure how well it works though.
After about 1000 miles on this setup now I am very glad I went with retaining the factory dampening and the valves too
@Talon Sei have you pushed it on corners or at the track yet? Curious if you have any rubbing in that situation, I'll be tracking the car a bunch.
Not on a track but have pushed it hard in the mountains and there is no rubbing at all with how I have the suspension set.

The new suspension setup looks good! But I noticed you didn't get aftermarket camber arms. Are the stock arms enough to bring the camber where you wanted?
These cars like being as close to factory spec as possible and tru was able to set the alignment perfectly. Anything more then -2.5 to -3.5 camber would be excessive.
Man, if you do a track day please film it!! And get some out of the car shots at full woot. The build is coming together nicely.
Did you send your ECU to Visconti? I read somewhere that unlocks weren't available for the manuals yet.

It’s an issue with all A90s but I have fixed the issue. I talk about it in the next Supra video that I’ll post next week 👌🏻

Been following this since you bought the car, AWESOME so far! I think I actually bought the same car at the same time, Nocturnal Black manual (Feb 7th ish? haha). Definitely interested in any tuning related stuff, if you think it's worth your time for a video. I'm dying to get mine tuned, just broke it in. There's no info anywhere on RUclips related to tuning these manuals, and there's some stuff I want to tune/code out. I'm getting ECU sent to Femto some point this summer, but before that I'd love to know all the little details that can be tweaked through software. I would also love to get rid of hill start assist, I absolutely HATE that it can't be turned off, as well as the excessive burbles. In the Subie world, addressing all that was a lot easier!

Are you getting any noise from the monoball? I know from managing a truck shop uniballs are metal on metal. Stronger but over time when dirt and debris get into the metal on metal design they squeak.
These have sealed internals so as long as you install them correctly and there’s no play on the control arm everything is quiet and better than stock.
That exhaust note is damn sexy..... Planning on coating the undercarriage for protection too?
No plans for that right now. I’m trying to only drive it in nice weather which we have pretty often here. In rain or snow I’ll go back to the van or tacoma
This is the same suspension set up I was considering, have you thought of adding sway bars as well?
It doesn’t feel like it needs it right now but once I can actually get out to the track I might change my thoughts on that.

I sold that 2 years ago when I bought my Supermoto
The 5" downpipe does absolutely nothing because they all funnel down to 3.15" to connect to the exhaust. The only way to get perfect flow for power is to go to custom 4" straight exhaust.

Do you have experience swapping or building motors? You know how expensive or time consuming it would be to build and/swap a 2jz? The B58 is super reliable for Stage 2.

Honestly from an aesthetic opinion I can’t appreciate these tall squared off wings. The Supra is very rounded and there isn’t a straight line in the entire design and these tall flat wings take away from the design and cheapen the overall aesthetics.
