Hey everyone, just a note here on something Drew pointed out below. In the video, I mention an extra 9 feet of reach on the GC model-which is definitely odd. I messed up by not speaking more about this more clearly in the video itself, but it did jump out to me while producing the video and I reached out to Cat for clarification on this spec. There's no mention of a different boom and stick on the GC itself so my question to them was where's all this extra reach coming from? I still haven't heard back and unfortunately the final edit of the video didn't include me going into as much detail on this as I should have, so I wanted to apologize for any confusion it might cause. It could be that spec is a misprint, but I'm going to check in with Cat again to clarify. Thanks as always for watching!

What’s the difference between the 315 and the 315gc? Is it a lower spec? I see it’s less horsepower?

How do you get 9' more reach with the same boom and stick? This shows me you are a spec guy and not common sense guy.

Drew, I definitely see where you're coming from and appreciate the feedback. It's my fault for not being more clear on this aspect and the final edit of the video didn't do me any favors. To your point, I took a note to mention more clearly that Cat made no mention of difference in dimension on the boom and stick with the GC and that it's definitely weird to see a whole 9 feet of extra reach. I actually sent an email to my contact at Cat on this difference a couple of days before posting the video, but still haven't yet gotten a response. It doesn't excuse the final impression the video leaves on this question, but it honestly was a combination of 1) time crunch and needing to get this video out and 2) me not explaining this as thoroughly as I could have. Like I said, I apologize for the confusion and I'll try to do better in the future. I really appreciate the feedback and you watching the video. - Wayne

@@DBlank72 Dude don't worry about it at all. I can't get better at making these if y'all don't point out the missteps. Like I said, I just appreciate you not only taking the time to watch, but to leave a note as well. - Wayne
