So, I was given the opportunity to come visiting the HQ of Pon Equipment here in Norway!😃
They had a brand new Demo machine that I was invited to try out!🙏
This is a bit smaller equipment than I mostly handle, so I was very curious to feel how this machine would be to operate.😅
So, this is a Next Generation Cat 315. It’s equipped with a Cat tiltrotator with a hydraulic quick coupler, a lot of integrated technology and a dozer blade!
The tiltrotator have the colors of a Rototilt, but this one is guided and controlled by Cat electronics, so even this is fully integrated in this machine.😍 The tiltrotator is also equipped with Cat’s HCS system (about the same as Oilquick), so there’s no need for stepping outside to handle hoses when it’s time to take off the tiltrotator!
The machine feels stable to operate, even so it is a short tail machine!
Great cab, I really like the new cabs on the Next Gen machines! Lots of space, and great location of any control button and lever needed.😋
I had the fun of testing a 352 last winter, but I didn’t have that much time to get to know all the systems.
A great walk around and update today, helped me understand the systems better, making me able to manage the machine on my own, without further questions!🙃
The only thing I would like to be different, is the very loud buzzer that screamed when I opened the quick coupler . But there’s solutions for that!

Its a really nice machine! My Boss gifted me one and received it this week. Sadly we havent had any work for it this week but so far its awesome. Only downside in my opinion is that you cant convert a lot of knowledge from the older machines. Ran a 314E before, its a whole different world

Thank you!🙏🙂 Haha, I just can’t get rid of that fever, it doesn’t matter if the joysticks are attached to 100 tons of machine or 1 ton hydraulic spade..😆 Think I have cravings for full buckets no matter what..😂
But it did great, I think I got some potential out of it!😊 I would probably need a week in that seat to operate it at its top game though, the difference in the hydraulic and geometry is quite large compared to what I’m used to.😄

Yes, I very much enjoyed this machine! It would have been fun to operate it over longer time, as I am used to a Cat 390F, I need some time to get used to this geometry and hydraulic response..🙃 I’m not going to operate this machine frequently, as I was invited to test this for the purpose of making this video in cooperation with @PonEquipmentNorge!😋

No stress about trucks waiting or stuff that comes in the way of time, it was fun to be free to place the cameras and finding angles.🥳

Well, I film most of my videos with a GoPro hero 9, but I also use the cameras on my iPhone 11 Pro sometimes as well!😄

Risikerer jo ulykker fordi en får det så sinnsykt travelt med å bytte skuff, at en gjerne prøver å låse hk festet før redskaps byttet er ordentlig gjort..😂😂 Alt for å bli kvitt den lyden ja..😆

There isn’t that many 395’s here in Norway yet, I actually only know about just one.😅 And it is a bit too far away..🤪

I didn’t see a D11, but there was several D8’S and 6’ers, several of them profiles for Haehre! 3 new 988’s with side dump buckets, and some 352’s as well with a logo familiar to me!😄
I did some thinking about those 775’s as well, wondering how it would be to load those instead of 772’s..🤪 But I think I’m fine with what I’ve got.😅
Oh, I am dreaming about a 395 myself! In the meantime, one just has to watch others operate them..🙃 Saw a new video of a new 395 from Awesome Earthmovers earlier today, as well as Benjamin Beytekin has some videos of 395 in Germany!😋

I was invited by the Norwegian supplier of Cat, to make this video in cooperation with them!
I’m actually not sure about the bucket size on this one, but I guess that this bucket holds about 1 cubic meter. The bucket on my machine holds 6,5 cubic meters, so it’s a fairly large difference between those two!🙃

Hei!🙋♂️ I next gen maskinene til Cat, kan man bytte mellom mange vinkler på kameraene rundt maskinen.😋
Jeg endret ikke noe på hoved innstillingene selv, så i denne videoen er bare kamera på høyre side og bak aktivert. Men man kan aktivere 360 graders skjerm ja, der man ser maskinen ovenfra med alle omgivelser rundt maskinen!🙂
Lurte du på den lille skjermen over monitoren? Det er en kontroll boks for rotortilten i tilfelle.🙃 Ellers kan man velge mellom 2D, løft og sving kontroll, vekt eller standard display med diesel nivå+div, under kamerabildene.😋

Well, there will not be any longer video with this machine, this was what I managed to do in one day.😅 Perhaps I can be able to make longer videos like this in the future, but these 37 minutes was why I managed to make.🙃

Men den var fin å kjøre, selv om alt fra geometri til spak respons er en annen verden fra hva jeg er vant med.🙃
Veldig gøy å få en skikkelig gjennomgang av maskina også, Pon var godt forberedt og mannssterke da jeg dukket opp!🥳
Fikk ikke så mye tid til å hverken lære eller prøve og feile da jeg kjørte 352NG i vinter, så jeg var veldig glad for en ordentlig gjennomgang av systemene nå! Kommer godt med til den gangen jeg dår en egen NG det vettu Vidar!😄
@@norwegianearthmovers Jeg har blitt positivt overrasket på 335 NG min👍. Stødig ,sterk og fin å kjøre🤩🤩🤩Mye av det data greiene må en bare ta etter tur har jeg funnet ut. Blir det for mye innputt så blir det bare kål oppi huet mitt😂😂😂. Ps jeg var på Berger å prøvde 325NG og fikk grundig innføring der😱😁. Jeg hadde glemt alt sammen innen jeg fikk min egen😱😂😂
Så gøy å høre at du er fornøyd da!🕺🏻🥳 Det er alltid spenning i forkant av et maskin bytte, og det er lett å la forventningene dra av gårde. Morro at det føles bra!👌
Hehe, det blir mye som skal inn ja, så man må bare prøve å feile litt ved siden av å få innputs når en trenger det. Gikk gjennom det samme med en 352FXE, måtte bare prøve en del.🤪 Men så er jeg egentlig litt diagnostisk opptatt av teknikk og duppeditter, så selv om jeg ikke nødvendigvis er så god på sånn fin teknologi, gjør jeg hva jeg kan for å lære allikevel.🤪😂
Kan godt være at jeg får anledning til å få flere sånne gjennomganger også, så en må vel lære til slutt!😅
@@norwegianearthmovers Du får en grundig gjennomgang med mekaniker også ved overlevering. Det tok 5 timer med min😉👍
Spørs helt om jeg er på jobb eller ikke det, om jeg evt skulle få en overlevering eller ikke. 😅
Det er ihvertfall ikke meg kjent at det holdes to overleveringer, så det blir gjerne sånn at han som er tilstede må oppdatere makkeren ved skiftbytte.🙃 Men det gjenstår å se.😄
Kan fort hende at Pon inviterer flere ganger også, da blir det jo ny gjennomgang igjen!😉
