Nooo, you can’t put a work of art like that in a chip board carcass 😱. Really nice work thanks for sharing
Cutting then sanding, glueing then sanding, routing then sanding, varnishing then sanding, varnishing again then sanding, varnishing once more then sanding, sanding then water sanding... Man, this guy did a crazy job and unsurprisingly the result is astonishing. Respect!
Europe is crazy. That flex poo pipe gives me an uneasy feeling. Beautiful work as always though
An amazing piece of woodworking craftsmanship set onto a piece of IKEA particle board cabinet. wow.
Thanks for not putting music over everything 👍
I like it too. There’s a couple of others Ishitani and Squarerule on RUclips that make lovely stuff & have similar no music no voice over videos
So true 👍
I agree, if they do I mute it 🤷🏻♀️
Gaad, you are some perfectionist, with patience to match!
Spectacular sink incongruent with that Ikea base cabinet.
when you're amazed at the amount of work that went into the first and then you bust out the big double sink, that was just plain old showing off. Amazing as always.
bon travail a par un oublie je dirais majeur oublier le trop plein tout les éviers en on un obligatoires ou inondations cordialement

No kidding right?! This guy's talent is unrivaled.
@@hubertprometti Overflows are overrated. You just have to hope nothing happens.
That is absolutely incredible. What an artist and skilful carpenter, plumber, electrician , developer, machinist, computer operator, tiler, bathroom fitter, sewage engineer, water closet fitter and fine Yorkshire man you are.
You forgot videographer 😇
Just imagine sit with this guy with a beer and listen his stories for hours...
And handsome and funny to top it off.
...and welder, glazier, floorer, gardener, father, husband and a dab hand with a gluegun too!

That sink is bloody brilliant!
Hated the mahogany stain untill you put the finish on - gorgeous
I have watched this video, or at least large parts of it, at least a dozen times. Just so satisfying to watch and the finishing process is like what guys with ultra high price restored classic cars get done when paying teens of thousands on show quality paint jobs
for something that deserves to be in the Victoria and Albert museum. The chipboard carcase was a mistake😊 but,if you are one in a million, you are allowed one. Fantastic
Stunning ! I'll never wash my hands in it. And won't let anybody come near it.
Beautiful craftmanship, the auto clearcoat is genius! Im also glad to hear that the peel/stick tiles are good because i just ordered the same ones 😄
as i watched - 'wow thats quite shiny', 'jesus, thats incredibly shiny' to 'thats james webb telescope shiny!' Amazing work as always.
Jesus is spelled with a capital “J”
And should not be used as a cuss word.

Astonishing work. If this was me, I’d have stopped about 15-minutes into the video as it looked fantastic then 😅 every time I saw you sanding it again I thought ‘what are you doing’ but the results speak for themselves.
Bloody perfectionists, this has to be one of the most beautiful basins on the planet, so simple but so elegant, not right bad for a young un from the wrong end of the county :) :)
I’ve watched heaps of your videos and I say your workmanship is outstanding……especially that flooring you did in your house, the attention to detail was amazing
I was glad to not see a cnc working. Awesome project!
Amazing sink!!! Anyone else kinda bummed to see him put that beautiful basin on top of some leftover cabinet?
No doubt this house will be absolutely beautiful after this guy is done with it.
When you first purchased the house and showed it I thought my god you have really taken a lot of work on but now seeing what you have done to it yourself and your wife must be over the moon they way it is coming along something to be proud of and say I did that 😀👍
Stunning bit of work fella!!!
Not sure my knees would enjoy knocking into the "towel rail?" in front of the toilet, but hey that basin is incredible. And I sure hope you aren't doing much to that wall to "sort it out". I love it the way it is.
Just when I think you're done sanding and spraying, there's more sanding and spraying!!! Then the polishing 😮. You Sir have gone above and beyond.
When you said "wooden sink" I thought "That's a stupid idea !" but I should have realised that it's your channel, so of course it was going to work, and my God it looks totally fabulous !
Your first reaction was the correct one.
Same was here
One trillion percent ! Skilled worker ! 👷 👍👍
I know it's been said many times before, but I can't believe you put that AMAZING sink in that rather average base unit!
Великолепная работа. Дизайн собственный? Вы настоящий техноблогер! Без болтовни хвастовства. Я завидую оснащению Вашей мастерской. Дом, который Вы облагораживаете, становится произведением искусства!
I'm not a fan of wooden vessels for water, but damn it's gorgeous. Beautiful work.
And also: a toilet you will always sit on at an angle. ALWAYS.
What an absolutely splendid piece! Fantastic work as always
You know, its one thing to own all these different tools/sanders/saws/angle-things, etc. It’s absolutely damn incredible that you USE (and know how to use) all of them. Just amazing!!!
Thank you for explaining the coating & finishing method. It's rare to see such thorough process
At first, I thought, "A basin out of plywood? What rot!" But I continued watching and was blown away by not only the end product but also the installation. You're a craftsman of the highest order. Your house is filled with practical art. :)
And then he put that gorgeous vanity on a shitty particle board base cabinet.
"Your house is filled with [art that is practical]"
@@patrickhenry4675 yeah that shocked me too. It deserved so much more & especially because we know how talented & capable he is with real wood😞
Simply outstanding And my coffee went cold thats your fault producing such an absorbing vid :)
I totally agree I m absolutely glued to every video, I don't want to miss anything! Amazing, truly outstanding 👍
"Freedom Language" that is gold👍
That's shaped up to be a proper mint little bog, Russ! Very nice work lad!
I can’t wait to see the whole finished house, love watching your work!
I'm afraid you are going to have to wait. At this pace the house won't be finished during this decade.
Great design executed with such craftsmanship and detail, amazing. This project, maybe apart from the veneer, is actually something relatively achiveable in terms of materials and tools for the standard DIY-er, I may give it a simplified go for my tiny house!
I've watched a lot of carpentry in my life even dabbled a bit myself. My favourite carpenter of all time is Norm Abraham from This Old House day's, but having just watched this, young man, you are now my favourite talented carpenter. Just don't tell the husband.....🤣🔨
probably the most beautiful WHB , I have ever seen, congratuations, 👍👍👍
Amazing work, as always. Those sinks are beautiful, along with the other pieces. That house, or should I say home, will be a showcase of your unbelievable skills. Thanks for sharing ❤❤
I've made some sinks out of concrete and I think they turned out quite remarkable. My next one has to be plywood. You've reformed me. Amazing!!!
Wow just wow. That is so beautiful. Very good job sir. The guys building the sail boat Arabella should see this.
Russ first class teacher asks him what he wants to be when he grows up.
Russ I want to be a Jack of all trades.
You never cease to amaze with your artistry and skillful craftsmanship.
Superb, the sinks are works of art.
Absolutely stunning. Not so much on the baby poop yellow. Fine craftmanship indeed.
Damn Sellers dosent have jack on you my man. I always loved Paul.
Great channel. I wish I was younger and attempted some of the things you've done. Really enjoyed it.
Absolutely beautiful. Great craftsmanship my friend.
I wasn't sold on the reused kitchen cabinets at first - they very, VERY much looked like, well, reused kitchen cabinets. But the overall look in the room blending styles was surprisingly nice, and created an extremely fine-looking bathroom, floor to ceiling! Your eye for detail is insane :)
Dude, you are no carpenter. You are an artist and carpentry is to you like a quatrain to Shakespeare - just one of many forms of expression.
STUNNING, ABSOLUTELY STUNNING
As always you absolutely nailed this, the twin basin version is off the scale and looks even more stunning as does the whole room! 👏😀👍
I must say, when you initially stained the basin, I didn't care for it. However after your outstanding finishing process, I think it looks fabulous!
yes but baby poo paint and dodgy tiles, not so much
What you _meant_ to say was, I _sink_ it looks fabulous.
Yeah I know, Americanism, but whatever... 😝
@@mr31337 Don't worry, when you pay him to come and re-do your place you can specify anything you like ;o)

Pretty gabby job. Hats off to young man. Pretty snazzy house you have there. Well done.
Greetings from France.
You have such a creative mind and your attention to detail is phenomenal. And the information you put up like products you use and how many coats to lay down is heaps helpful.Great channel thanks for sharing

Fromthe "first coast" in freedom loving Florida. You sir are a woodworking madman!
As I’m watching this I couldn’t help but hope that the cabinet is worthy of sink.
I can't unsee Wallace's smile sans teeth lol
Toujours magnifique travail !
Very nice job, love the finish on it. Maybe a small remark would be that it misses an overflow.
⚠️ - flood risk
Like the handy rest that Festool make for hanging bathroom cabinets
OMGOSH 😱😱😱😱😱. I can't believe you didn't replaster that wall. My O.C.D. is screaming right now 🤣. I didn't know sinks could be made from (ply) wood. Beautiful design and finish. It's more like a piece of art than a functional item. Your description of the yellow paint made me laugh. Thank you for another great video and upload.
Excellent work as always. My one gripe if I can level any criticism at it, if you need to have a number two, you’re doing it side saddle or you’ll burn your leg on the rad!
I have often looked at a pack of ply on site and seen a bath tub waiting to be dug out. Although the current price of ply would suggest solid marble a cheaper option. Another great video, thank you.
Could probably do a double basin out of the cutouts of the bathtub.
Modern tools & advanced technology may make the prep work of a project easier, but it is the hands of its maker that construct these gorgeous works of art. Top notch workmanship!
You Da Man! Awesome work... Attention to detail... Pride of ownership... Love what your doing with the place!
Beautiful 😍
Just when I think you're done sanding and spraying, there's more sanding and spraying!!! Then the polishing 😮. You Sir have gone above and beyond. Truly outstanding craftmanship. The time, patience and quite honestly, the level of OCD 😅 (or what some may call, "Attention to detail"🤔😏, you put into one basin is just phenomenal. The colour in the basin reminds me of a bowl of chocolate. The baby poo colour on the wall however, is not to my taste. But whatever your Queen wants, your Queen shall get 👸🏻🙇🏻♂🤣
Discovered your channel not long ago and have to say I really like your videos, much action, no talking and just the information you need.
The sound of scissors cutting thin wooden veneer is so satisfying.
You are amongst the most astounding and creative home artists. Period! Thanks for your generous sharing! And how lucky is your wife!
What a beautiful sink. Its a masterpiece ( And not made in china) 👍👍👍
Anyone with an interest in geology would love that sink!
I was really impressed by the dramatic reconstruction of hand washing!
Yes, it's absolutely beautiful. I'm wondering how you clean the sink without scratching / ruining the finish?
How do you clean your car without scratching? He used automotive lacquer.
I really love this sink except from the fact that I personally would have stained the inside a little bit lighter so the layers of the plywood would be more visible. But that´s personal liking as always. In any case it´s another masterpiece of craftmanship you made!
I thought that at first but if u look at the double sink when the light hits it, u can see the layers and pretty sure this was the same ✌🏽
This makes for a unique fixture. I like it.
That piece should end up in art gallery. Congrats. Beautiful work. 👏🏽
This thing looks amazing. What a great aesthetic, I've never seen anything like it. As always I take my hat off to your attention to detail and immaculate process. How durable do you think the laquered finish be in the event of a dropped safety razor or similar? Just occurred to me it might not take the punishment that porcelain does.
I wondered that as well as someone who may use a hair dryer or hair iron of sorts. I guess, just don’t do that near this particular sink, right?
Isn't there a minimum distance a loo has to be from a wall (I thought it was 40 or 45cm) under the building regs?
Yes, that's pretty tight quarters. Unless you sit diagonally :-)
@@stevejohnson1685 The only person sitting squarely on that toilet is a double amputee.
Based on the look around the house, the only way to do that is go back to using an outhouse or ditch the sink. My guess is application of modern building regs would result in mass demolition of that area. Besides, maybe the don't poo over there? :)
That's Bob on is that old lad, gi' thisen a pat on the back & award thisen a nice pint! Well deserved too. 🙂
This reminds me of an auto finish.. really beautiful!
Amazing sink, looks stunning. Little design flaw with the toilet : too close to the wall. When sitting down, your right leg is hitting the towel warmer, or even if it wasn't here, the wall. I hate when toilets are flush against a wall like that =( No room to spread and do your business in style.
Going to have to learn to left hand wipe as well!
I'd say a big design flaw, something that is really surprising and a little disappointing.
I came to the comments just to say that too. Looks amazing, but functionality is poorly thought out. Could've centered the toilet in the space and hade the sink directly above, draining water into the cistern for water saving too.
I almost hit don't recommend, I thought it was one of those videos...
Ruddy Nora! That's a cracking job mate 👌
This is... yeah I've no words. I just love it, it's all beautiful.
Rather than using a pointed thing to trace the pattern on the wood, make multi copies of the pattern and tack the pattern on the wood and cut through the pattern. A lot faster and works just as well. Just a hint. When I use my scroll saw I put blue tape on the wood, then glue down the pattern, then put box tape on top of that. The box tape lubes the blade as it cuts making a perfect clean cut. Then pull up the blue painters tape with the pattern on it and throw it away. Thanks for the video. Very nice work.
Мастер на все руки, молодей. Благодарю.
That’s not a sink that’s a piece of Art!! Amazing!!!
the professional definition !!! very good job !!👏👏
I made a sink like this for my rebuild of 63 airstream rv. About 3 years ago. And still getting lot a lot of comments. Sad to say I had to go old school on my methods. But loved your work
You make humanly unobtainable precision look a complete doddle. Astonishing skills.
