Thank you for making a peaceful place in RUclips! The lack of narrative give an inner monolog with subtitles. It has an very soothing effect. I grew up in craftmen/carpentry family and friends. But I didn’t took that route but the opposite. It is very inspiring when people share (also in any line of work). It obligates one to do the same. Even though you do not share your background, but it shows in the mastery of your work and dedication to your craft. I salute you!
Dude, when you specialize, you really do go all-in. The audiophile community must love you, because even when you're willing to spend heavily, it's not always possible to find someone willing to make something EXACTLY the way you want. These are some very cool projects, even if I don't necessarily understand the appeal of, for instance, ridiculously overbuilt record players. Regardless, you're making things that have spectacular attention to detail and build quality that will probably become heirlooms. Great work.
You must have come from the machine tool industry. Normally I do not like a silent youtube video. But yours are done correctly. You tell us from the beginning what your making. And there is no surprize at the end to what your making except a great quality item, done right! Thank You Very Much!!!
It is a pleasure to watch a skilled craftsman take such pride in his work. Thank You!
When I watch this craftsman at work, it simply relaxes me. It’s a pleasure to watch this man at work.”Tanks” 👍👍👍
Discovering your video 3 years later, which I hadn't seen at that time, is like finding a Christmas present in July!!!
Thanks for adding the shots of the final product, puts it in context.
So much respect to you for showing us how this thing is made.. Thank You. Hats off to You Mate....very very excellent Craftsman and very neat work....
Agree some of the table saw work raised my blood pressure, but what do I know, I'm not a pro like this man. Thanks a lot for showing your practice!
love the fact that the silence apart from the machinery and hand tooling is exactly what would be heard in the workshop
I don't normally watch the ENTIRE video that people post of builds, but, this. Wow. Absolutely beautiful.
CONGRATULATIONS, A TRUE TEACHER, DELICATE, CAREFUL AND PROFESSIONAL, AN ARTIST
I am in awe watching a master craftsman create such functional works of art. Your attention to detail is inspiring. Thank you for posting your work on youtube.
Works of art! ...I didn`t think they could get any better with the square mitered corners at first... But WOW!!!
To put this in '70s terminology: Those are some "Mondo" amplifiers! And now they're housed within and atop some stunning wood bases. Simply stunning!
"my mechanics" and this channel are seriously on another level
thanks for sharing what you do pal, its spot on 🤘
Hello from Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada. Thanks for sharing your great video’s please keep them coming.
Wow what craftmanship, great to see some people still take pride in their work, does not happen often nowadays.
you are the most gifted and perfectionist carpenter I have ever seen... thanks for sharing your amazing projects... hug from lisbon, portugal
I used to work for Audio Note and I wish they took as much pride in their amps!
That final setup is absolutely insane! Beautiful work, as always.
I will never build a box like that but I will always use the techniques I learned from you in my future builds. Thanks for the sanding disc replacement especially! Wish my tiny shop had a ladies room.
A better system is to use velcro-backed discs. That way you can quickly go from one grit to another without having to throw them out. It's the same as what everyone is using for their random orbital sanders.
I have build two similar amps for myself but i am an amateur with a home workshop, for you it looks so easy.
Some folks clearly deadly serious about their amplification! Superb job man.
Like that you showed how to attach the adhesive sandpaper disc. I had to work it out the hard way. Love your work.
The grain patterns on some of those cases are beautiful. Lovely work 👍
Mesmerizing! The beauty of what you make. They're all masterpieces!
Your little Tin can seems to be a very important tool. Great stuff watching you working.
Oooooooooosome craftsmanship! I want to have that biggie belt sander! Game changer!
1:54 Good thing you had that track saw!
Superb work sir! Your craftsmanship in making these cases matches the calibre of the hi-if components to be installed within. Don't know if I'm a bit late in saying this but congratulations on achieving 100,000 RUclips subscribers. Well done! You and yours stay safe and well.
Simply stunning. Simply superb. Simply sensational.
Superb workmanship as always. Particularly like the walnut varient.
I love the craftsmanship you bring! Keep making videos please - thanks!
A visual and aural treat. Can’t help but wonder what the finished audio system actually sounds like, but it looks stunning! More, please ...
I'll put it this way: neither you nor I could afford the speakers for those amplifiers! Those are some heavy duty, Industrial-strength beasts, but I'm with you on this-- would LOVE to hear what they do!
I used to know someone who owned a high-end hi-fi store and he invited me in for a listen. After a few minutes listening I realised that I couldn't hear the equipment. All I could hear was the music.
@Grannys Gusset I've been trying to remember the make of the amp they were using. It was not one of the regular brands. I remember the guy saying that the Japanese maker was an old guy who made one or two amps a year and they cost around $250,000 30 years ago. Those amps were like a fat coffee table about 1 metre square. The company made some budget amps at various price points: $25,000, $50,000 etc. The speakers were electrostatic and a bit bigger than a standard room door. Slightly narrower, but taller. I could not afford that type of gear. I spent too much money on skiing and sailing. 😁🙄
@@roadie3124 that sounds like the original Japanese audio note. Kondo San used to hand build the ongaku amplifier, great big thing that had old fashioned valves.
Great job the finished product looks excellent 👍👍
That hifi setup at the end... 🤤 Oh muh gahh. That is art. Pure art. That man has got TASTE.
Are you sure your transatlantic views will perfickly understand the HE Bates reference?
Oh crickey. Mr. Majeika! You really are intent on widening their culture!
"Harrising" - you're keeping them coming thick and fast. Love it.
PERFECTION IS ONLY WORD I CAN SAY ..................CHEERS FROM MÉXICO
Just seen your video with the Garrard plinth, now I’m hooked 🤦🏻♂️
wow , your planer machine is incredible , it does so any tasks
Outstanding workmanship my friend .
Such a pleasure to see your skills and craftsmanship. Keep it up! Regards.
Great work Russ. Was getting a bit worried as it’s been a while since your previous video 😉 great video mate 👍🏼👍🏼
I love the point to point wiring. PCBs except in very low current and heat are no bodies friend.
Those BEAUTIFULLY MADE cabinets will really showcase some excellent electronics and provide their owners with MANY hours of musical enjoyment ! It does not get better than a great sound system, glass of wine and a beautiful woman to share the experience....WELL DONE !
Have you ever worked with mesquite?
How do you determine what finish to use?
You are a master. Unique and detailed craftsmanship. Thank you for sharing.
I can only wish I had 1/10th your talent and knowledge.
Nice job. Good to see you back.
Brilliant. Thanks for sharing. Sometimes the bubble can leave marks. Consider fleece type material or soft acid-free tissue in direct contact with the finished surface.
Well done. L’Artiste. Bravo.
Good job. You did well to round all those corners freehand and maintain accuracy.
More house renovation videos would be great. 👍👍
im on it mate! gone quiet at work so im fitting the flooring on first floor this week!
@@NewYorkshireWorkshop. Excellent news 😁
Gorgeous results! And what a joy to see them being made.
Gorgeous work and great craftsmanship! Thank you for filming and sharing.
You can drop your aitches on the arrised edges at 22:33. Most of us Yorkshiremen do anyway but in this case 'arris' is correct.
A very meticulous and perfectionist woodworking artisan
At least you can charge them 50% of that value for your work, it´s flawless. Congrats for your attention to the detail.
OMG!!! Just found you last month, & watched ALL of your videos. So of course I subscribed, & hit the notification bell. So excited to watch this tonight! Keep the videos coming please, & great work!!
Amazing Workmanship Thanks For Posting The Video
I know I'm late here but I'm confused. Why countersink the holes in the wood if you're mounting a plate over it?
2 years late, but here is your answer. The thread inserts have a small lip, that won't sit flush, if you don't countersink. It helped to hold the threadinsert in place cause of friction
mesmerising job worth my time during Sydney Lockdown. I'll be back.
Your perfectionism is making me look like a neanderthal! Beautiful stuff
What a pleasure to watch!! A real discovery. Thanks!
Is that a calibrated paint tin lid 👍
I was thinking the same. He better not lose it, or the whole case will need re-sizing.
Cabinet making excellent. Video making even better. Thank you.
Wow what a skillful guy you are...Lovely project.
Beautiful work. Those amps are sublime.
I've watched 3 of your videos so far, and you do good work. Just subscribed. Thanks!
It’s a beauty, the craftsmanship.
Great man makes great products! Really appreciate your working manner! TKS
Brilliant work Guy's, Stay Safe and have a nice day !!! .
Wonderful to watch perfektion at work!
Super Job , very nice indeed , congrats
The finished product looks super retro. Nice job.
More impressive work, thank you. A master at such a young age.
Those frame clamps are sweet.
You are an artist sir. I can only dream of producing work of that caliber.
I wish I could have your off cuts. As usual brilliant project and video. Thank you
fabulous work once again.
A pleasure to watch ,I'll wait for the sale before placing an order though.
BOGOF... 😂
Thanks for letting me watch it!
Fabulous work that totally makes the end product.
Beautiful craftsmanship!👍🏽👍🏽
Nice work. Some really nice wood, too.
Another fascinating video. I love those biscuit joints. 👍
Wonderful and stunning visually, as others have asked, wonder what it sounds like? Great video.
You are simply a country mile ahead of other so called craftsmen....
Not a hand tool to be seen anywhere, well, except the scraper. It's all machine work. Is that craftsmanship these days?
@@Nico-bu6bj I am presuming that you may have not seen some of his previous work, if you watch the video of him making, fitting and finishing a continuous handrail you will realise he has full knowledge and use of hand tools and marking out is on another level, his understanding of his work is of the highest order....
@@BeasleyStreet Blablabla. If he can make a Skutsje or Lemsteraak entirely from solid white oak he'll be in my league. Until then, not impressed.
@@Nico-bu6bj if I told you the work ,for who and where, I too could brag as you appear to be doing, I can only think you must one of Karl Faberge's ex craftsmen
So pretty. So nice.
Love them!
Absolutely perfect that is some serious hi fidelity there
Truly stunning craftsmanship, thank you
Simply captivating. You are very talented craftsman.
Please forgive me for asking a stupid question but why do you countersink the holes where the panels are going if the panels themselves are countersuck. The angled head of the screw would never really see the wood - would it? Again, please excuse my ignorance. Greetings from Scotland and thank you for your amazing videos and knowledge.
thanks BRian. there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers.
without the countersink; those threaded inserts tend to splinter out the suface of the wood when they are threading in becasue the very coarse threads have a kind of slicing action.
Mesmerising as usual. Would be nice to see how you design and prototype before you make the final products.
I really love watching your craft 🙏🏻superb
Beautiful work, with a fair amount of repetition and routine - it must be hard to keep the high standard from first to last case.
Love the work you do very effective and finish outstanding.I noticed you have an Axminster twin drum sander I have one could you tell me the parts you used to do your extraction for it information would be great cheers
great craftsmanship.
Have you traveling out door ,a jusd ed family resque to refresing, that good idea and nice work i thing
I'm making my first diy project, an preAMP including the diy box out of aluminum and oak.
Can you please give advice for oak finish but not to be expensive bcs this is a on low budget project :D
