I love the two very subtle language jokes!
1. When he asks Frau Frabissina "Wie gehts es ihnen?" Then asks her "How are things?" he basically asked her the same question twice.
2. When he couldn't remember the French phrase "Je ne sais quoi" he can't remember so he just says "I don't know what", which is a very literal translation on that phrase! Brilliant!
Joke 2 isn't subtle. That's a common joke that's been in a lot of movies and TV shows.
Joke 1 is "how are you?" and "how are things?"
2 different questions. And 4 different combinations of possible combined answers.

“You’re stock is rising number 2” is easily one of the best lines in this whole series and a great throw away line in all of comedy! It has stuck with me my whole life. It’s such a fun thing to say to somebody who does something good for you and you watch their confusion. 😂😂

My other favorite part is when Austin and felicity are on the beach, in the tent and soldiers are silently sounding them. Then, we see the whole shadow silhouette.
