Cattywampus is a word, it means Kristen has lived in the Appalachian Mountains to long. Thank you Kristen for the proper use of our mountain word.
Thanks for the ride along through the tail, I haven't been in years. Somethings never change, there will always be the crazy ones passing in some of the worst spots.

Cattywampus. Originating in the Colonial United states and still used in the deep South, cattywampus means something that is in disarray, that is askew, or something that isn't directly across from something. This can refer to the decorations in a room, the position of a building, or someone's attire.

Nice pull on the truck. Blue Mountain Majesty. There is no wonder why I love this state so much. Wish i could fly. If you have never been to the top of Pike's Peak in Colorado, you really need to try to visit. Go in the day and at night. Running the motorcycle clip at high speed is scary as hell. Thanks for the ride and the scenery. Good karma all over. Be safe. Love you.

"cattywampus" and "shoot fire"...two of my favorite words/phrases! Loved the ride up and down the Tail of The Dragon. I've driven it 3 times, in 3 very different vehicles and loved it every time. As for the semi-driver, apparently their GPS shows that road as a shorter route to somewhere. Lesson: Listen to your GPS, but don't follow it blindly! READ THE SIGNS! Thanks for bringing us along, Kristen & Jeff!

RWD was standard for the Ford Aerostar, IIRC they had a 4WD option. Like the Chevy Astro (also RWD), it was a more truckish minivan than the car based Dodge Caravan they competed with.
Manual was an uncommon option on the Aerostar, but I've driven one back in the late 80s when Aerostars were new.

Ford Aerostar manual trans was pretty common in the early 1990’s. My brother had one in 94. The issue was that the 3.0 V6 only made 135 hp, it was a brick and it was famous for blown head gaskets.
