...upThis was absolutely the most adventurous video. Up until this one, I was impressed with Shorty getting that vehicle out of the woods where the woman kept driving down a hiking trail in the mud. But this one beats that one by a mile. So, I guess the moral of the 'tow' stories is that Shorty's involvement jinks the videos into that one moment you don't forget. Jeff, I am glad the weather has changed. If it was summer, you would have had problems with poisonous snakes in the creek. Very impressive work guys. Teamwork makes the dream work. Got a bunch of good ole boys working together, having fun and learning something new by figuring out together. Kristen still giving Jeff instructions. Cracks me

We just recently got a 2013 Subaru Outback for my wife to drive. I am very impressed by the engineering and thought that went into the layout of the engine bay. Everything you might need to change (serpentine belt, AC compressor, PS pump, Alternator) are all right there on top in the front of the motor. Very safe vehicles with AWD. I'm glad my wife is riding around in one.

I had an '87 Subaru GL wagon that I bought brand new, 5 speed manual with manual 4WD, last year you could get that 1.8 L engine with a carb instead of fuel injection. Kept that beast for 20 years, not a bit of rust on the body, you just couldn't kill that thing. Only two times I had to do unplanned maintenance on it, was when one of the timing belts failed before it's rated lifespan. Got ran off into a snowdrift one time in Kansas up to the windows, engine bay packed full of snow, and the bloody thing still started up and ran and got me to safety. Couple times on snow and ice, it spun out and did a couple of 360's, didn't even try to tip over, and once again still started up and ran as if nothing had happened. Finally sold it off after 20 years because it was getting difficult to find parts and anyone that knew how to work on them in my area - but there are still times I deeply regret selling that car - because I firmly believe that if I could have got ahold of the parts and found someone competent to do maintenance, that beast would still be running to this day.

Hope, this Subaru (pretty old one) has been saved for disassemble purpose.
In my hometown, I'll bet it will be restored or, to be honest, 'restored' - when the car looks good enough to be sold-off but definitely not is good enough to run safely. It's Russian specific. Unfortunately, here we have a rich tradition of criminal restoration and (much more) criminal retail of used cars.
Let me say, your stuck-car extraction technique is perfect.
