Glad someone mentioned that. I love J Hope's low voice with Junkook's voice. It is very soothing.
For Dynamite, when BTS received the demo version of it, they liked the song and decided to take it, it wasn't actually planned to do an English song, it just happened, yes I am pretty sure the label was like "yeah this could be a global English hit" , But I remember this one interview Namjoon was asked "Why do an English single?" He said it was a challenge for them, and that he actually tried writing Korean lyrics to it or making a Korean title but nothing worked out, so they decided why not take a risk and keep it in English. He said in the interview "the virus and pandemic, [the fact that] we can’t be on stage and have concerts anymore. Many things have changed, and my thoughts and my mind and myself have also changed, and now we’re giving a little crazy shot called “Dynamite.” That’s all I can say."
Dynamite is really a global hit, it broke so many records in Korea and USA, and till this day after more than a year of its release, it's still gaining 1M views/streams on both Spotify and YT

Exactly those attachments to their music is what makes ARMY feel connected with them because as a humans we endure at some point the same pain or joy.

Just a cool thing for you to think about.... in "SAVE ME" and "IM FINE" both of Rm's verses contrast and act as ambigram.. not only do they have opposite meanings but the lines are physically flipped as well..

In fact, I'm Korean but I wasn't BTS fan before watching TDC bcoz of I thought Korean idol groups were many typical and similar concepts. In addition, the singing ability of Korean idol groups is almost similar. However, in the case of bts, it was good and surprising that they all had individuality.
I didn't admit any Korean idol groups. there were only performance groups in typical forms. But I was surprised that they did so well when I saw this live show.
Look at them.. they are so genuinely sweet and their loveable energy is so contagious. Their Spring Day performance gave the feeling of peace and happiness💜
I think this was done when Suga was starting to come back from having surgery. They did a lot of sitting singing so that Suga was included. Very cool,huh?
They are family and love and respect each other.
Actually this was before Yoongi's surgery. They were sitting because that's how Tiny Desk usually is, something low-key, kinda acustic like (:

I love this Tiny Desk Concert. :) They all sound and look great, and the songs sound great in their live band versions. I get a nice little mood boost every time I see this.😀💜(Edited to add) I love that they still perform Spring Day, I love the original but it's just so so good live, I don't think I could ever get tired of hearing it. Their English songs were made as a way to reach as many people as possible, so they in the end decided to go with an English track. Since their all-English songs have been released during this pandemic, that's the baseline for their decision to sing in English. Sure, economic growth and global domination is a part of it, people are often predisposed to gravitate towards songs in a familiar language, but the members' main reason. Also, Dynamite was supposed to be in Korean as well, but it sounded more in English. Butter and PTD followed Dynamite for the reasons I already stated.
Spring day is my favorite song of theirs, because of it's many layered meanings. Now it is been wishful song for the pandemic to end and 'spring' to come - it's been the longest 'winter' - but at the same time retaining all the other layers.. 💜
This has been a bad winter for me, took few steps back (with my seasonal depression), and, well actually slipped, twice, and both times broke my tailbone. :/
Usually this live don't make me bawl like this, and I can enjoy it as a hopeful song wishing the 'spring' to come soon. But today it also made me want to go to write my kinda "springday-story" about a friend's life he should have, not the one that he had and which was too short. Spring Day was originally written for the (young) lost friends, by RM.. So I'm to wash my face and off to writing. 💜

I've watched this performance a lot of times and it never loses its magic! Love their 1970s dress style too, they look great
Omg this was so cute, they had me dancing and sing along to the three songs, the choice of songs sent e from being happy to sad and i went in a roller coaster of emotions.
DynAMIte had me singing and dancing along and i so wanted to be that vinyl record so badly.
Save Me had me in my feelings as i was smiling along, swaying and also Jimin, Tae and Jungkook dancing along to the chorus had me laughing so much.
Spring Day i had a tear in my eye thru that song and the vocals during it had me in my feelings so badly.
And dont get me started on their clothes, i mean Jiminie OMG i was just speechless and on a side note every members english has improved so much im just in love with it, also i love it when they perform with a live band as it just gives off another kind of vibe and its the best when they perform with a live band.
also Save Me is one of the BTS songs I can't skip on my playlist and is in my top 3 of fav BTS songs.

This tiny desk home concert was done right at the beginning of the covid quarantines. They were no longer able to do live concerts and this gave them a way to give Army a gift.
