when you’ve entered the equation if you press equals it should come up with a screen that says start, enter the start number, press equals and repeat with the end number and the increment (steps) number
If you know how to complete the squats th turning point is just whatever number is in the brackets, with the opposite sign as the x coordinate, and the y coordinate is the +/- number outside the bracket with the same sign ut has. e.g. (3x+4)^2 - 5 has a turning point of (-4,-5). (^2 means squared)
42:00 why doesn't it work with pythagoras? i did 30^2-15^2 then rooted the answer to find the height (25.98) then did base(30) x height(25.98) and halved but it gave me an area of 389.711 instead. Where did I go wrong, someone please? Why doesn't this work?
@@jaydon4064 yes i figured it out, its NOT equilateral, obviously, its isosceles because of the angle 80 (hence other angles are 50) and the base is AB as you said which can be found with 2 x r x sin(x/2) or 2 x 30 x sin(40), which isn't in the curriculum.
I'm pretty sure you can but, since it is a right angle triangle soh cah toa would be better. Sine and cosine rules are mainly for non right angle triangles
if q10, then the reason why he said to square root a is because: 1) he divided both sides by x^3, so he was left with a^1/2 = 7 2) when something is to the power of 1/2, then the same thing is done as when you square root it so he squared both sides to get rid of it, and ends up with a = 49. I hope that was the issue and I helped somewhat, but you need to be a bit more precise about what you don't understand.
