- NBC News spoke with displaced Palestinians who were forced to evacuate to Al-Mawasi, an Israeli-designated "safe zone" along the Mediterranean in southern Gaza. U.N. officials warned conditions in Gaza are deteriorating rapidly as Israel continues its military offensive.

2.3 MILLION people were driven out to a sand dune / garbage yard of the size of 2 NY central parks. No running water, almost no food and electricity, no fuel and winter is coming, with rains and sub 50 Fahrenheit temperatures. With most of their things, including clothing, being under rubble and while all areas around them are bombed. They have injured and sick, but no medicine and no medical facilities in the "safe zone"... they can only try to return to one of the damaged, unsupplied, overcrowded hospitals, that are STILL being bombed and shelled! ...
