Very interesting view watching Tibo
One thing I noticed with his race, is a spot I could’ve shaved another second off my lap times.
Main Straight: 3-4-5-6
Into turn 1: 3rd
Through S-section: 3rd
Mini back straight: short shift to 4th
Into final corners: 3rd
Straight: 3-4-5-6 repeat
Note that Tibo short shifts into 4th a second time during the final right handers. This is a second short shift I was NOT doing. And that’s the difference between Expert class and amateur class. Now I know and can likely get into the low 1:40s (Tibo was running low 1:30s)
For reference, the fella that passed him towards the end also set a Atessa lap record. So while he did pass, Tibo stayed on him for the duration. And this was not a random guy… again, he set the Atessa lap record.

I do but it hella boring! When I was talking to joe about your engine I double did my settings in the front and made it wayyyyyyyy to soft and wayyyy to stiff in the rear

@@tibofew11 when you got a bike like yours and speed like you do, no sense of shorting on tires! I ran takeoffs til Q but they were good takeoffs atleast. Not worth beating your head against the wall for pace and not giving yourself the opportunity to go fast with good rubber
