I've heard that Halon will eliminate all the oxygen in a small space. Take a deep breath ( of fresh air if you can) before discharge, then open the windows afterward.

Good idea to weigh the extinguisher (grams) when you first purchase and then say every several months to see if any contents have escaped over time. Saludos
