So glad no jokesters but real intelligent talk here. Seen lots of people make these permanent homes. Other than your suggestions expert commenters how do you seal the roof to prevent leaking a tarp? Q. Can you put in an A/C wall unit split instead of window box? Is there running water in the kitchen capability I saw connections for the bathroom? I want one and like the large glass windows at entrance but can you secure them from the inside with exact finishing plexi glass to stop break ins? Imaging a large cement area serving as a wrap around walk way and a just above the roof of the unit have a square pergola large enough to cover to "encase" it from water damage and serve for solar mounting? Is there a better way? Please teach me. Help? THANK YOU!!!!
Pretty awesome but the only negatives I would say are that there should be a tub in there as well as a shower so that you could relax in a hot tub after a long day and if any of the bedrooms have a sliding glass door it should be the master bedroom for the adults only and definitely not in the kids rooms because that could be a security issue like if someone could break in and kidnap your kids easier or whatever or your kids could escape and run away easier also or even just forget to lock the sliding glass doors so I think maybe 1 sliding glass door on the side of the great room and 1 in the master bedroom would be plenty plus the front door but the kids rooms should only have a window I think but besides that everything looks pretty awesome and it would be better if you had 2 bathrooms that way the master bedroom could have their own bathroom but then you would need to probably have a 48 or 53 foot long expandable container instead of just a 40 foot long container which could be doable and maybe utilized in the future potentially? Also how does the AC/Climate Control single mini split heat and cool all the rooms if the doors are closed? I dont see vents in the other rooms to spread the heating and air conditioning? And where's the stove or microwave to cook to eat anything? It looks great though!
I was thinking the same thing ,although my children are grown and out, I thought the home had too many sliding glass doors.I would definitely put alarms on those.
Would it be possible to request revisions such as what colors to have the walls be? I’m thinking about getting one of these when I can afford one and I want the wall for the rooms of the house to be certain colors.
I haven't gotten one of these units yet but I've been doing a lot of reading. The center of the unit is the full utility corridor. The connections should be on the back end of the corridor outside at the bottom. Their should be two waist line and two water lines. One for sewer and the other for water waist. Then you have two water inlets. I found that hooking up to a instant water heater instead of having a water heater tank. One of the guys I read about saved $80 in water and $44 in power.
He also bought a portable AC unit for 500 and did a better job in keeping the house cool. I did not see any duct work in the blueprints. They do have homes like this that have duct work but I didn't see any for this. If there is please correct me. I already bought my instant water heater, AC unit and 2in1 combo washer and dryer. Already in storage just looking for the best prefab house and their should be a breaker in the utility corridor.
@@paulmccoy2334 Don't buy portable units.. Buy 220v mini split systems. one or two units complete splits.. or you can buy a mini split that have several air handlers.
I love love your place but I have two questions I would definitely like to ask number one do you think it could have withstood hurricane Helena and hurricane Milton that was in Florida do you think something like that could survive a category 3 4 or 5 has it rained there and if so how well has this held up and tune I'm an artist and painter I definitely would want to have a room for a storage room to put my computers and paint in could that be an add on addition or could I just use one of the bedrooms for that I hope you get back with me cuz I would like to know how this has handled extreme weather is there a bit extreme weather in Australia and if so how well have this container home held up
The kitchen would do my head in. Need to remove the cupboards at the wall, put the sink in Front of the window and install some pantry space back along the wall and bring the fridge around . Voila
The reason why the sink is where it is because of two important reasons. The #1 reason is that the plumbing is all on the main container so there's no need to cut open a wall / floor to add plumbing. The wall wetter the window is located is a foldable piece. #2 all you plumbing is on one wall which comes preset. You can also have a washer and dryer in the bathroom on that same wall. And the cabinets don't have to be installed. You can always go buy or build your own. A free standing pantry and custom cabinets are an option
Think about it. There is no closet or space for central heat and air. Which means you need to buy a solar powered mini split air conditioner from the link on my videos.

It's a damn folding house. Even with your so-called planning, there is only so much you can cram in there and still have it viable for folding. You want the usual amenities, get a regular house.

I want one so bad!
Great long video with lots of info.
Nice a few adjustments the stove is missing. I would use one bedroom as a full laundry room. How much I'd this one?

Are there outlets in the bedrooms?
Is it insulated?
I’ve been trying to figure this out. I’m in WV and considering a pop up house.
Can we get the link for buying the house?
love it!
Are you available in the U.S.? Florida? How much for smallest model and set up? Have a link for that model?

Australia could house every family/adult in house like this for only $50k each 😮
How much for one this shipped to Brisbane I am very interested

How are these homes heated and cooled?

Read the comments. The simplest things are the easiest to fix. This is not suppose to be your dream home!
Where’s the stove?
what about the land that these homes are sitting on..does the buyer need to buy the land first How does this work...
That's a severely stupid question

How poor has Australia become?
:yes
You guys are terrible in designing floor plans. No stove, small bathroom sink and mirror... No good planning
I would be more than happy for this house..better than renting
