I would like to take this time to say I thank you so much for updating us and I hope you continue updating us on the expandable container home what are the questions I would like to ask I'm in a wheelchair dear and I wheelchair is 22 in wide and 23 I guess link I use this I'm a triple it's definitely hard to get around it look like everything seems to be an open plan except for the bathroom which I am really curious about I don't know if these things can be made for people with disabilities especially in a wheelchair but my concern was it looks like that if I use the wheelchair I would not be able to shut the door and because the way the bathroom looks it look like it would be exposed for anyone who could be knocking on your door right straight and I don't think the concept of the way they designed the bathroom is proper I'm also concerned about a few things like a washroom again I'm disabled in the wheelchair and I find that it would be very difficult to try and take my laundry out of my house and try to go to a laundromat so that was another question I wanted to inquire about as well as the kitchen I know that I believe the window they put into the area where the sink is could have been eliminated and a refrigerator could have been installed there as well again as it's open floor plan I don't know if it could be built but I myself don't know if I necessarily what such an open plan I like to have the kitchen kind of closed off and then maybe a dining room and then the living room and also a storage room I'm an artist I love love the paint and Harry a nice storage room where I can keep my paintings my office supplies as well as keeping so my art supplies in there I think it's great I understand that when they create this home I guess they just want the bare bone minimum but now that people really starting to live in it I think it needs a little bit more accommodations also the concern about the ceiling leaking this is a very concernable situation cuz I know myself I wouldn't be able to fix it so I'm hoping in the near future they attach or have an attachment to have a secondary roof on there so that that won't happen or just see if they can make it better obviously if you make some mistakes and you do not put the ceiling on there probably you can get that leaking but having an extra roof owner secondary roof I think that's something the company should include in their shipping container explains again I hope you get this message love and I think that you are a strong individual woman and I hate that you had to go through all the mode and again I'm about 190 something pounds with my weight sometimes fluctuate I would be terrified and I mean only tough side that if I try to transfer from my wheelchair well nervous and it looks like the company don't seem to I mean I don't know if there's a phone number you can directly call somebody about I know I did try texting them and they never responded to any of my texts but more ever when there was storms such as hurricane Helena and Milton that happened in Florida do you think that these container homes could withstand those terrific horrific storms and earthquakes I would definitely like to know your opinion on this if you read this dear I hope that you could answer the questions with more videos and also if there is a wheelchair like say 22 in I don't know if you just borrow it could you let me know if a wheelchair could do at least 360° with the in the door could be shot with you being caught or is it something I should be concerned about I hope you get back with me again I hope you update with a new video with this these questions thank you and bless you🙂😇
@cynthiacasey6631 Hi Cynthia this model would not be ideal for you but the newer ones have wider doors and bigger showers. I was in a wheelchair in here for a few months after breaking one leg and it couldn't get through the doors it had to be moved by an aable bodied person all the time and it was horrible. The manufacturers now have tropical roofs as add ons to overcome the leaks... I am in Australia so my contact won't be ablebto assist you but there are people in your area I am sure and if you get a professional builder to install it they will be able to make sure it has a foundation that can withstand earthquakes and hurricanes and make sure it is properly tied down... it is probably best to find. Local builder first who can help you with installing the home . I hope this helps and Thanks for watching Blessings Gerowyn
Hi Sis, This Wonderful update on the container house. That's some great advice. What's the height difference between the container house you have to now and what you will be getting? Will you do something different with the foundation of the one you have right now? TFS! Blessings to you my friend. Have a blessed week. ✝🙏🏼💕
Hi Beautiful great question a standard hight shipping containers internal height is around 2.3m and the high cubes are nearly 2.7m. The foundations for the new ones will be properly concreted steal posts and I think we are aiming to have it 1m off the ground. Thanks for watching Blessings Gerowyn
@bankruptbutcher1396 depends how you order I bought from someone who imports them and it arrived on a tilt truck... if you are in Australia Maggie from Polygreen Solar can help she has been importing these for years and years... Thanks for watching Blessings Gerowyn
I like looking out the window too but in Canada it would be better having the sink on the interior because it needs extra insulation at times to keep plumbing from Frezing
Thanks for the video walkthrough. 2yr update... still no lights🤣🤣🤣.... Gavin? 🤣🤣 showing your problems will make less for me. People who winge are losers destined to winge about everything life throws at them. God bless you
@chatmaster884 I absolutely agree whinges are incredibly painful I hope I didn't sound like I was thinking my goal was to share challenges yo help others not have the same challenges I have ... apparently the no lights is my fault gor having too much stuff in the road, I haven't been in it for over 2 months and there still are no lights... no prizes for guessing I am not accepting the responsibility for the lights 🤣😂 next time I am just going to hire an electrician... I am so glad my video has helped these homes really are fantastic value just this one has problems ... Thanks for watching Blessings Gerowyn
Yes I can but I am hoping to be able to reuse the good stuff but I can sell some of it, but it will increase the cost of the demolition. Thanks for watching Blessings Gerowyn
That is my understanding and Iam currently in the process of getting approval, they do need some minor modifications from what I understand and when I have more details I will share them 🥰 Thanks for watching Blessings Gerowyn
I got mine from Ben ABT and he is dreadful, Maggie from www.polygreensolar.com.au is a bit disorganised but can help with ordering and importing them and gets excellent quality homes. Blessings Gerowyn
That screen door is genius
My father in law came up with a great idea with the screen it helped so much Thanks for watching Blessings Gerowyn
