- In the new story, we will have a tour onboard a very unusual aircraft. Russian space agency - Roscosmos received at its disposal 2 Tu-204-300 airliners in a VIP corporate configuration. The planes are named after Sergei Korolev and Yuri Gagarin.
Each plane is equipped with an interior, including both a regular cabin and comfort zones. In this configuration, they should ensure fast and comfortable transportation of personnel and cosmonauts to space industry facilities located both throughout Russia and beyond.
Welcome onboard!

it's not a Russian plane unless it has a cockpit fan
😂😂😂
Like a third world country crane cabin
It's an after-market modification. Not from factory
@@N1njaSnake 🥱
Useless fun fact: fan blades are rubber.
Bud... one thing stands really out for me.
As brazillian... listen Boeing BBJ, Airbus ACJ and EMBRAER Lineage in the same sentence (like shoulder to shoulder) is AWESOME.
Here in Brazil people dont have the idea how good Embraer is.
There are more EMbraer planes flying for companies outside of Brazil than here.
It was great for me.
I know how ERJ 145 change Embraer in the aviation world but most people here dont.
Great video, interesting stuff you can't find elsewhere. I love how much work you put in to actually going and touring interesting aircraft. I've never seen another English language channel give us tours at this level of detail, your channel is a bit of a diamond in the rough.
Very well said
Or a turquoise instrument panel.
I always thought of the 204 as the Russian 757 more so than an a320 or 737
Like the 57, it has a beautiful shape and gear!
Where ya from ?😶
It does the job. Sleeper cabins for the cosmonauts are more important than lacquered tables and drinks cabinets.
Where ya from ?😊
Very cool! Love this channel.
Atkinson 😆
Love the look of the Tu-204 and 214, my dream would be to fly on an il62 though, my favorite commercial airliner.
I like the snow mobile style control yokes on these
Air koryo bruh. You can still fly with it, Beijing to Pyongyang.
Amazing that you have access to such planes. Great vid Sky as always.
Another great video Sky! Amazing access!! Very envious ))
Very interesting vídeo, as always. Congrats!
What about a video of the Soyuz capsule interior??
Absolutely 💯 enjoy all your videos. Great stuff Thank You.
Another enjoyable video showing unique aircraft. Thank you!
Nice video 👍 great names for the planes
Tu-204 needs major upgrades such as more advance glass cockpit , new and comfortable interiors ,seats and replace old engine with newly built pd-14 rest the plane fuesalge is still compatible in modern world !!!
That Tu-204 must be really old. Where are the two big fans that we see on the instrument panel for the air conditioning on the usual Russian aircraft? Only joking - superb and interesting video. Thanks.
Where ya from. ??😊
very informative video... well done.
Great video as always. Love your channel.
I wondered about the greenish cockpits I keep seeing in Russian planes, and then you mentioned it specially.
Is there a particular reason why almost all Eastern-bloc planes seem to use that same colour for the cockpit panels?
The green color of the cockpits was developed for aircraft back in the USSR. Psychologists considered that this color is better perceived by pilots
Generally speaking stuff like this is a result of studies to determine what provides less eye-strain on pilots, makes gauges easier to see/read, etc. It may also help in low-light situations, etc.
good notice.. in fact it is bluish green.. this is very natural to the sees, skies, and grassy lands.
Also, it keeps pilots more awake and alert, for the same reason that blue light on your computer or phone screen keeps you up at night. The USSR actually did studies on this, and it showed pilots were more alert and attentive at the end of a flight with a blue-green color in the cockpit. Safety!
It make them more calm

Hey 👋
only one word .....its beautiful.plane
Excellent! TFP
Awesome
the Sukhoi SuperJet™ 100 BJ equipped with additional fuel tanks can fly Singapore (SING) - Dublin (DUB) non-stop . . . as for the Ilyushin Il-96M it's no overkill, just a victim of ever changing consistency but it's still just as good . . .
Any news on the new crew capsule ?
Супер!!!💞
I put up a request on these exact plane just few days back. And here it is . Very big thanks.
I wonder if they’d consider making these 2 available for charter flights. Could work out good value for 50 travellers, like say a football club team & the associated entourage.
"...but for some reason there are no tourists to look at them."
I guess that's about as direct as you can safely be when throwing shade at the Russian government right now.
Cool.
What about a video on the MiG-25 and MiG-31 line?
They will come soon)
I would love to see compilation video of antic birds russia now is bringing back to sustain it civil aviation fleet
Mayby something about LAR01?
Will it fly under the sanctions? I just read Airflot start to dismantle parts from couple of ssj100, 737 and 321. Can we have a video about it?
Tupolev Tu -204 is equivalent with Boeing 757 and airbus a-321 and not with b-737 and a-320s
With all of the current sanctions. The latest model of the TU-204 may have returning to production.
👍👍
Wow what a pretty girl at 0:20 - she looks exactly like the 1980's pop star Tiffany
Good insight to Oligarch airplanes.

Is this plane that Russians want to produce as a replacement of the Boeing and Airbus planes?
Thank you so much for any and all information related to supporting Russians and Russia as something other than my enemy.. much appreciated.. most wars are economic wars, from which poor people suffer..
But, why they choose the PS-90A instead of the more recent PD-14?
PD14 is still being tested and certified. In any case, replacing PS90 with PD, 14 in Tu 204 is not an easy task. the fuselage and wing need to be redesigned.
Can you make a video about the airlines of Russia 2022 and how are they evading the sanctions
Oh, the greate Russian aviation experiment, will the indutry live furter. I'll think about it
@@SkyshipsEng Just be careful not to say the wrong things in the wrong places, man! Stay safe!

Skyships, great film as always, but you have gone back to not listing the non-metric power output. 35,000lbf.
Hope all is well for you sir.
Goggle is an easy solution.
@@baomao7243, no shit, Sherlock! I'd commented to Skyships for a good period of time that I could do mass/weight calculations and velocity calculations in my head, (Well ish[?] allowing for the fact that kg or tonnes are a unit of mass and pounds is weight and one is a scalar quantity and the other is a vector quantity) but I couldn't do thrust conversions off the top of my head and I had to break the film to find units I understood. Skyships was nice enough to subtitle a lbf figure for a period of time, which I was very appreciative of. My comment was just a prompt in case he had forgotten.
@@COIcultist Context helped. Thanks. You sound like me and do calcs in your head. I did not realize it was a prompt vs the EPIDEMIC of complainers who vent over minutia rather than even lift a finger on a keyboard, hence, my response. Apologies.
@@baomao7243 Many thanks. I really like Skyships content, his perspectives are unique, I'm also very conscious I don't pay a penny for his output. The past few months I've been looking at the comments more as we have had some right knob comments on post February, probably from people who are not long term viewers of this channel.
"they will say that state money is being spent on stupid show-offs" ... yeah right. Who are "they"? Superyachts, palaces, London mansions, young mistresses... yuk.

Putins private jet sure does not cause complaints that the supreme leader has to travel in a simple not luxurious aircraft
So, not a "vomit comet"...
Hopefully Russia and China can develop their own civilian aircraft.
they can't produce parts for deployed aircrafts, not mentioning building new
They've already developed.
The problem is certification , a market that's brutal for new comers and production
@@sidharthcs2110 There is no problem with certification. But there is usually a serious problem with efficiency and economical viability of the product. In many cases with lack of technical support / spare parts etc also.
It's a slow but steady progress. The Chinese and Russian still use western engines though
The Sukhoi SSJ-100 is being modernised and recieves Russian Engines, the MC21 is now completely Russian made, Engines, Wings etc all made and developed in Russia. Russian Aviation Industry is booming like never before, as they are very experienced in cooping with sanctions for quite a while now.
Very good looking plane - but I cant really see any future for Russian planes, outside Russia that is. Considering the Russian war with Ukraine/Europe, I think a lot of hard work from Russian manufacturers, have been lost for decades to come.
Thanks to Ukraine.
@@flexairz Ukraine didnt start the war....
@@flexairz and Flemming, let's be mindful of the nationality of the content creator and not enter into a subject that might cause him embarrassment or difficulties.
@@COIcultist Agreed. This channel is about aviation, not about politics. So it is surely true that Russian aviation is going to face some hard times due to the sanctions imposed on the country, we should not argue about who is to blame, who isn't and why. 😉
