- We tested out three different buzzer (electronic) flags at Arundel F.C. with Michael Ryan (Level 3 Referee), Jamie Well (Level 3 Referee) and Taisei Honda (Level 5 Referee). We marked them across three different areas; the bag, the flag and the receiver. Who will be the winner?

I think the Evocrom Flags are called "Referee Paging System" but I'm not 100% sure
It's just the nickname/tagline so it's clear what the flags do :)
English referees thinking the shorter flag is the standard when everyone else in the world uses a longer flag!
Also, they are all ridiculously expensive for what they are.
They are very pricey however they help with your communication between the officials. Can you put a price on that?
seems pretty easy for a DIY system. not worth $800

Some I've used are too sensitive and if the buzzer is where your thumb is, with constant changing right/left hand its too easy to buzz in error.
I agree this can be a real problem in some of the flags

What does the button do on the flag ?
You press it to alert the referee. He has a receiver on his upper arm (under the shirts), that vibrates like you know from a mobile phone, as well as making a sound like a 'bip'. hence the name :-)
