Absolutely. But players now days will moan. ‘The ref can’t say that to me!!’ Collina literally pushed a player away and got in players faces. I have nothing against that. But you just couldn’t do it today with todays players. They would be reporting it straight to the league and FA.

@ There are some fantastic referees around. We have calm ones like Michael Oliver who has fantastic body language and always looks calm. Not many look angry anymore- we need more who do and can put players in their place when needed.
