Losi Tenacity Lasernut gets ARMA shims in the center Diff.

- Hey all. Here is a small tutorial on how I did the shims on my Losi Lasernut. If you’ll like, I can do a live stream when I do my boys Lasernut.
Please be aware, I have never done a clog style video so be gentle on giving me crap for that. Lol I have a face for radio and a voice for literature.
That said, I hope this helps our Lasernut community. We really love these buggy’s. So far, even more than our UDR’s.

Great job covering the center diff issues. I really like the Lasernut and I'm considering getting one but they seem to be quite problematic. This video is 3 years old now so perhaps Losi has addressed some of the shortcomings of this RC.

I know its been a while since this video. But really appreciate this cos was fustrated trying to find out how to solve grind issues & also shims to use until i saw this!
Thanks Mike, I added a shim under the sun gears and my center diff finally did not lock up after running it. This extra shim, the Tekno shafts in the front, and the SCT bumper have really improved this thing. It eats up ground!
and for the last showing the results running was give us a huge thumbs up that he's working smooth now ✌🏻

this i would recommend for all youtubers rc that they need to give us a part number as a partner for this hobby and this video helps me a lot and learn more about this i have the same peoblem and huge issues about what's the correct shims that i can use now u shows us well done and thanks a lot 🙌🏻

Rebuild center diff fill with JB Weld / put diff locker in rear diff/ front diff open with 50000. She will be good to go..
Thanks for this video, I pulled my center diff, and proceeded to strip one little access bolt out after another now cannot open up differential itself to service. All bolts stripped. No clue what to do. Any ideas ??

Hi I think I may have a central diff issue as I have a similar grinding. I may have to shield but how to prove it is the central one? U let the car runs with the rear or front wheels not spinning to reproduce the grinding?

I’m not much with the vlog style videos. I have a face for radio and a voice for paperback. Lol but it has seemed to help a bunch of guys get their Lasernut diff issues under control.
How is the center diff holding up? What about Front and Rear differential did you have to change amount of shims there?
If so how many shims did you use in those?
Center diff 3 shims per sun gear? I assume you did both sides.
Did your center diff have any shims on the 4 small gears? 🤔
I have the same issue in my new losi lasernut after first run on 3s battery. Do you know Is that issue covered under warranty?
Horizon sent me all new diff gears. They were really good about it.
@@mikesblueskyproductionsuta7634 how long did they date to respond to you. Its been about 2 days since I put in a request for the front driveshaft that snapped and now the center diff is making the same noise. I took it out and i cant even spin the diff its like locked up.
@@mikesblueskyproductionsuta7634 so you only shimmed one side. 3 shims on the side you show and how many on the other side 1 2 3???
Haha just blew the diff in mine. I just put earplugs in it and locked it.
