This is incredible singing by an amazing singer at 90 years old. There were so many amazing Russian singers of the 1940s and 1950s. Check out the 2 Russian recordings of Boris Godunov from 1949 with Mark Reizen and 1954 with Alexander Pirogov (which had to be made because Reizen was Jewish).
