just to let you know, the venomous armguards that you get from the venom daoist count as a part of the centipede set and they inflict poison bane on critical hit so you can actually inflict poison bane without useing summons.

Took me a total of 12 hours and 23 tries to defeat the Relic Holder challenge. 2nd phase Erlang Shen is as hard as Great Sage when you finally reach him. But Qing Mallet and Fanged Cyan staff are totally worth it. And, the Wukong Stance lasts like 5 minutes now with the reward for clearing Stone Monkey and Great Sage challenge. Also the Erlang crown just makes the spear build so damn OP. Worth playing this mode even after completing the game 3 times.
Only took me 4 or 5 attempts. Once you remember the patterns and timing it's not that bad. Definitely saw some new combos from the bosses though! I enjoyed the challenge.
Actually the smash stance while using Fanged Cyan, the hit from your 4 focus-points is an instant frozen enemy and the shockwave of the axe afterward immidiately break it...
I’m stuck on the collective strength gauntlet, I beat everything else but having yin tiger and scorpion lord back to back and yellow loong at the end giving me anxiety 😂
For spell binder lovers I found the best build for you guys with impressive attack range 345 upto 471 which is insanely crazy and without using any pellets All you need is Wukong armor and Wukong stance but there's a catch you need to be on your 4th cycle to activate the Wukong stance, once you did just load up your focus to max to activate the stance and then directly use spell binder your attack becomes 345 and if you use your gourd it goes up to 471 Spirit: non able or earth wolf Weaver's needle Curios: 2 cat eye beads, tiger tally, beast Buddha and the new curios that extends the duration of Wukong stance Supreme gourd Give this a try and thank me later
I’ve finished all nine gauntlet of legends. It’s hard enough without constraints. I used bull king set n dark iron for the first 5 or 6 challenges even with monkey mind. For Brothers of Mei, use your Qi build golden armor set. Erlang can cancel your fan so prepare to fight on.
The fan still work on first use, but it will be canceled anytime you use after. Just prepare to fight him to the finish with your stance. I used thrust stance. His new laser moves can be crazy w longer combo.
I used bull king set n dark iron staff when the updates was first loaded. Also original non mythical wukong set and dark iron staff deal more damage n end the fight faster when I timed using the timer cursor. But the easiest one to use would be gold armor Qi build included the drink, vessel and spirit.
@TOTKBOTW I'm stuck on challenge # 5 , the first 6 boss challenge. I equipped the original Wukong armor with the golden loong staff. I may have to switch to the dark iron staff. I get to the mantis and run out of gas. Lol
Yeah it’s not easy. It may takes a few attempts. I actually win with full bull king set n dark iron staff. Original wukong you can dodge and deal more dmg. You have to learn conserve your resources until last fight. I used remigration only at the last fight if I think I need to revive after one has been spent. Sometimes I managed to beat the boss without needing to revive which wasted my pill. lol
Hey khraze the “relic holders” challenge is in question marks for me… I’ve done all portraits and done pretty much everything in the game. I only have 3 soaks for my gourd I just don’t know what I’m missing I’ve even done the secret ending 3 times too 😞
The problem with a lot of these items is so far none of them are really stronger than the Bull King and Dark Iron staff combo. Or the armor that buffs defense once you have all the relics. They sound cool but to use most of them you have to pretty much break builds that require you to have 3 or 4 pieces or rely on things like seeing through the enemy which just isn't very consistent. The trade off doesn't seem worth it, especially for things like poison. It may have been better to add some items that buff the existing armor sets and staff
And you're right I'm not running anything different than I already was after finishing the dlc. I need to test how long the wukong stance lasts now though.
I have not played in like 2 months, I had to use the mythical spear to beat stone monkey and broken sages shell, only took me one try to so happy about that
My former brother in law and his best friend said this is there game of the year glad this is getting some love hopefully it can get the same treatment Elden Ring is getting next year
Why won’t my maps pull up at the shrines to purchase I downloaded the new update but they won’t show up nor does the fireworks 🎆 when I do ring of fire but I got the new red silk robe 👘 and lion head of opulence
@@sewellbeezy the map looks like a scroll in the shrines store, not sure why you don’t see it. But for the new gear, you’ll need to upgrade it for the equip effects to show up. I think I upgraded it 3 or 4 times before it showed up.

The buffed defense one from chapter 6 is my runaway favorite. The stats are insane.
