Recently they diagnosed me with an esophagus that doesn't work, it doesn't make peristaltic movements. I have a lot of problems with acid reflux related problems in my throat and my voice box, my voice is extremely heavy sometimes and irritated, sometimes hoarse or both. My lungs get irritated by the acid as well and that's a concern for me, I have a lot of infections in my lungs because of this. They can't operate because my esophagus doesn't work. I'm now trying with breathing exercises and hope it works..

    Greetings,
I've started experiencing the reflux symptoms a couple of months ago. Its always the same, I am sitting a lot, i feel tension under my left rib cage, and I catch myself a lot squeezing my stomach, and its followed up with heavy heartburns. I've just tried a couple of these exercise's , and to be honest, I am immediately feeling better. I will do my best to keep doing these exercises (combined with some of your previous videos) for the next month, as a challenge, and I hope I will make significant progress.
I just have a couple of questions. Does my jaw muscle squeezing increasing my reflux ? Is it normal to feel a bit light-headed after doing these exercises.
    Thank you!

Hi Milos - thanks for the comment.
Be mindful of your jaw clenching as this can trigger a number of tensions / restrictions throughout the body. It's typically a sign of your body's stress management so I would expect it to coincide with an increase in your stomach acid. Keep it as relaxed as often as possible.
The light-headedness is very common and will gradually ease with practice. Your body is adjusting to the increased airflow that you are actively encouraging.
      Keep it going!
      Take care
      Rob

I'm so glad I've come across this video. But I have all this plus feeling my throat gets clogged up after every swallow.
This week I had a barriam swallow, no results yet.
My worry is that when I swallow I feel and hear a squelch in front of my neck. Scared it's something serious as this is not normal. Can you suggest anything for this. I feel I have excess thick mucus all down there. X

Investigate LPR reflux. Your colleague may need a change in diet. He should talk to an ENT: ear nose and throat doctor.
