The 90s models like Helena really had their own look and individuality. To me, she stood out because of her beautiful eyes, but finding out she's a Renaissance woman is wonderful. Today's models seem so one dimensional in comparison.
The 90s models had an extra flair to them that is missing today. Everyone looks so much alike today that the industry is pretty dull now. In the past, they all had their own unique looks and personalities. I loved it.

Of all the 90"s supermodels she was my favorite. That dark hair and beautiful eyes. She looked different which made her stand out from the rest. Not only has she aged so gracefully her kids are absolutely stunning. The whole "used underwear" thing sounds like she just enjoys thrift shopping.
80's and 90's model hands down were the most beautiful, the vibe, the designers and their uniqueness.
You’re right!…she does love her food- and isn’t afraid to dive into a yummy big pizza and red wine we shared during lunch at a Victoria’s Secrets catalog in 1997 of which I was a stylist assist. She’s a fun loving sweet down to earth girl. I can attest to it as we laughed during the hole ride to set in South Hamptons and back.

I don’t think Helena gets the recognition she deserves. Pictures and videos DO NOT show how incredibly gorgeous she was. In 1991 I was one of the dressers at a fashion show for a small ex-model designer that my company made samples for. I was assigned to dress Maureen Gallagher and Helena was right next to us. I was struck speechless when I first saw her. The contrast between her beautiful skin and hair color and her eyes was nothing less than extraordinary. Absolutely striking! She was WAY more beautiful in person than what you see in photos or on a screen. As beautiful as she is, I used to joke that for a model she doesn’t take very good pictures, because the camera just could not capture her true beauty. I’m a witness! She was the most gorgeous one there that night… and they were all gorgeous.

I love Oatmeal with brown sugar and bananas! Trader Jo’s has candied pecans that I will crush and sprinkle on top. I eat that for dinner! One thing I like about these models is they looked so healthy! Thin but not scary skinny!

I didn’t think she was attractive when I was younger. I think it might’ve been cuz of her jawline or face shape but now that I’m older I can really appreciate her unique beauty. Your video helped point out things about her beauty that I might’ve never noticed before.
