To manage online business on your ow it’s awfully hard. Lots of people will understand you there. The hardest thing is to make everything going together- shop, RUclips, social media. I can hardly make it . Looks like you are doing great! Well done 👏 Great to see your business grow! 🤩

Yes even for me now it’s still not consistent. Every month is different. And the beginning 5 were really slow. Just keep doing it and keep advertising, it takes a very long time but stick with it 💓💓
I’m thankful for this video also. I had a talk with my sister a few days ago about this for Etsy and she told me it took her almost two weeks to get her first sale. Good luck to you❤️

Honestly, I love crocheting but I couldn't imagine doing it full time. My hands literally hurt like crazy after just 2 days of crocheting (not even a full day, just like the extra time I have to chill after work). I commend ya'll for having this kind of job. It's a lot of work.

It took me a verryyy long time to get orders, my first few orders were from friends that knew me personally. It never happens immediately 🤍

Yes honestly it took me months to make my first sale, and even after that sales aren’t consistent month to month at least for me, it’s a struggle and not something you can make a quick buck on 😋

I'm really happy to hear you say that you didn't have a lot of orders for the first couple of weeks because I am starting a crochet business and I don't know how I would handle it if a lot of people wanted my products. My hands can only do so much and I don't want to let anyone down. It's pretty scary honestly, but then I remember there other people who have businesses and crochet like I do, and then I feel a bit more motivated to succeed, so thank you and I think your video and your products are awesome!😎☺️👍

Having your own business is the scariest thing on earth! But its also amazing and you will find yourself enjoying it. I have a business too, not related to crochet, but its also something “out of normal”, its about Tarot and emotional support, at the beginning i was feeling insecure but my friends-clients and my new clients started to change my mind and today i wouldnt regret anything. All my love and cheers for you two from Spain :) You can do it girls!! ❤️❤️❤️ crochet is a beautiful craft

Take your yarn from the inside and you won't be having to pull so much because it'll just flow. And no skein flipping & flopping! Check the labels most will tell you which side to pull out from the middle.
Yes!!! I just started doing this yesterday!!! Pulling the string from the middle of the yarn ball is way better. No flopping of the ball!! Hahaha loved this comment
I like this but whenever I get close to the end of my yarn it’s all tangled in the middle(maybe it’s just me)
@@roanreagan thats common. usually when i buy yarn,i unroll it then reroll it into a untangled ball with the string coming out from the center.

One of the things I noticed on your shop is that I can't find your social media linked on there. And it would be nice to have a small section about yourself and how long you've been crocheting.
I'm not familiar with big cartel so I would be hesitant to buy from someone who I can't find out about much (like links to social media).

just a suggestion, but have you tried pulling the yarn from the centre? sometimes its a bit hard to find but I definitely prefer it

Girl it’s soo hard out here I feel you!! Honestly, if crochet is what you’re passionate about and being able to make items for people is what you enjoy then do not stop now! You’ve already gotten this far into working and creating your business I would say continue to stick with it. Consistency will get you far I promise 💓💓

I was thinking about starting up my own Etsy and I was wondering if I wanted to focus on making food/animal plushies, when I sell them do I have to give credit to the person who came up with the pattern? Say I watched a tutorial on RUclips and made a cute pig plushie and decided to sell it on my Etsy. Would I have to credit the RUclips channel, if so how would I credit them on my Etsy?

I always ask them for their measurements, I never just guess that would be unreliable!
