Dang, I just watched Steves video and wished him a Merry Christmas and was coming on to do the same to my other favorite Canadian. God bless you both and I look forward to an awesome 2022 watching my favorite youtubers.

Your van build is seriously one of my absolute favorites. You can off road just about anywhere and the interior (especially shown at 2:30) is so cozy and cabin-like. Through the adventure I loved your talk about anthropology, water, how we're part of nature, and your comments about plastic. Thanks for the amazing content!
Merry Christmas mate, hope you won’t get to lonely out there. Would like to thank you, it is comforting to know someone is doing what I want to do, without understanding fully what it takes to do it. We here understand the sacrifices you make and all the hard work you do. We really appreciated it.

In regards to the fuel tank being exposed. If you can get your hands on offcut of thick plastic (counter manufacturers might have drops) you can fashion a skid plate out of that. It would take a significant force to upset a thicker piece of material like that, plus it slides better than steel.
