- The EPIC Team heads down to Utah for the first time in 3 years. Instead of Moab, we're headed to the lesser-known, but very impressive San Rafael Swell. In this episode, we check out Black Dragon Canyon, the Wedge Overlook (Little Grand Canyon), Eva Conover Trail, Eagle Canyon/Arch and the IceBox.
Our team travels in Teraflex-Equipped Jeeps, including KHAN the EcoDiesel Gladiator and a new 2022 4XE Rubicon. Shaun from @TheStoryTillNow joined us in his 2022 Ford Bronco Badlands Sasquatch.
Did you know we have an online store with swag and other items?

Cheers from Team EPIC!
The camaraderie and good-natured humor of the guys make these worth watching. Great job.
Thanks Carlos! We have a really great team of people... like 10+ years we've been together.
Another great fun video guys, looking forward to the next one. Cheers.
Thanks for following along John!
Great job! What a fun trip! The views are spectacular! Thank you!
Thanks for your comment and for following along in our adventures! Cheers!
@@EPIC-4WD Cheers!
I’m trying to figure out why your guys videos are so much better than all the rest. I came up with the fact that you guys look like your having the time of your lives and all the others make it look like a job.
We are all having the time of our lives! Living the Dream! Thanks for following along... we sincerely appreciate it.
Awesome trip!!!
Thanks for following along Troy!
beautifully offroad 👍👍
Thanks! It was a special place for sure!
That was EPIC.. Its been a lot of years since I was last in Utah.
Thank you sir! Cheers!
They had to have filmed some western movies and tv shows in that area. It's spectacular. You did a great job of capturing it.
Thanks! It's hard to show the sheer scale of that place!
Well done.
Thanks Kevin! Cheers!
Awesome video, looks like an amazing trip. I would love to do a trip like this one day in my JL.
Well when you do... hit us up for some expedition routes/ideas!
Awesome video. Definitely inspiring us to get out more in our JL
Aweesome! Glad we could inspire you with our adventure antics ;-)
Awesome vid. ❤
We have been running those trails in the last year too with LP3W and friends. Glad to see the area get some exposure on RUclips. We've run it with a variety of Jeeps but most have been lifted. Come to think of it, we ran Black Dragon Canyon in a stock JLU in October 2020 and had to take a bypass or two.
Yeah, it's a nice change from Moab and the views are excellent.
errrr LP4W*
Awesome video!
Poor Ginger! No Starbucks in Death Valley, No Starbucks in Utah! Has he gotten a complex yet that maybe there's a conspiracy against him and Starbucks in the States?!?! What a cool place and the group you have is obviously very tuned into each other!! Can't wait for part 2.
Thanks for following along! Yes, the Ginger's Starbucks fetish is wearing thin. And yes, our team has been adventuring together for over 10 years, so we are a finely tuned machine!
Great adventure , love the video. This ledge on 4:50 is that located on San Rafael Swell or The Black Dragon ?? thank you for this great video.
I live 1.5 hours from there and I just bought a JL Rubicon, good times are coming. Oh, but Starbucks? I make better!
I miss that camp site!
Hey, I was there! lol 🍍🥓
Awesome place hey?!
Absolutely @@EPIC-4WD!
Sean sees a flying dinosaurs 🦕 in the distance eh?!!! I’ve been wondering about that charlatan ever since he’s been riding that Bronco!!! 😆😆🦕🦕🦕
Yeah, he's crazy like that ;-)
Awesome vid! I'll be headed to the Swell for a trip this fall so thanks for helping narrow down some great destinations. But wait - where's fluffy?
Yeah, there's some must-see areas. Give us a call when you're doing your planning and we'll provide some input. As for Fluffy - you'll have to wait and see ;-)
Yes sir I hear that diesel...freedom at $6 per gallon😳 Be very interested in some feedback on the 4xe. We own one, haven't had it on an epic trip yet🤭 4xe review would be very cool
We're working on a 4XE review, based on the Jeep in this video. It did well, but there's certainly some considerations when doing a long-haul, remote trip like this with it.
If figured it would be, very interested in the upcoming review. My wife and I are taking the PW on this year's trip but planning a CO/UT trip next year, towing a camper with the 4xe 🤔
PS from SC...
look at 21:01 it even looks of to the side in pain as it was petrified.
great video! heading up to the area this week. any chance you could share the gps route? thanks
Can you give a few more details about your rig please? Tire size, lift, anything extra, etc. Thanks
I just did the swell starting from the Wedge Lookout. Which way did you start from?
Apple maps... no wonder you didn't find Starbucks.
Ha Ha!... who uses Apple Maps anyways?
I thought the US/ Canada border was closed to essential personnel only? I tried heading towards Alaska via Canada and I was turned away.
Gotta be vaccinated to cross the border still. Otherwise, the border is wide open! Woot!
I think it was all green screen lol 😆 😂
Ssssssshhhhhhhhhh!
Have you guys ever done a video going over the Kong build?
Yep, it's on our RUclips channel!
@@EPIC-4WD thank you. I'll look for it. It looks like a badass build
The actual pronunciation of San Rafael Swell is ... San RaFell Swell. I've made the same mistake and live in Utah.
i want an EPIC outfitters decal for my cooler fridge if you have them...?
