Thanks for the post bro I'm sure it's 😋 but I prefer my mom's buttercream frosting she uses 125g of unsalted butter , 125g of shortening, 3 cups of confectioners sugar , 1 tsp of vanilla extract and 1 tsp of lemon zest. Hey tried making it with desi ghee it turned out amazing and there was no need of extra flavour due to the pure of fragrance of ghee. Loved it .💜

When I made buttercream it didn’t taste like butter to me but for Swiss meringue, the butter taste was very strong
