  • In this video, we talk about 10 things highly intelligent people do differently. Intelligence is a tricky thing. It's a trait that can be difficult to measure and is often misunderstood (mainly because there are different types of intelligence). Some people think being smart is just a matter of IQ. But intelligence is not just about how quickly you can solve math problems or read an encyclopedia. It's about how you think and behave. So, if you want to spot a genius mind, you must keep that in mind.
Since there are a lot of misconceptions about what it means to be intelligent and possess exceptional brainpower, we take a closer look at some signs of high intelligence, and what highly intelligent people do differently. These individuals have certain habits and behaviors that set them apart from others, but they also have some surprising similarities!

Exactly! It might seem as a "joke/overated": the saying that "you should'nt focus on your past, but on your future"
But it is soo true. To focus on your future, insdead of focusing on your past mistakes, is such a good thing to do! And im also saying this, because it really isn't easy for a lot of People to come to terms with their past doings/wrongdoings, and move on.
It really does take a lot of courage/work to get over that obsticle, in Order to accept your mistakes, and move on... Into a better you...

Intelligence gets mistreated. You genuinely try to help people and they hate you for it. You wind up giving up most of yourself to please others, because they try to make you feel like an outsider. Every conversation turns into a competition. Intelligent people like to be by themselves so they can be free of the drama. You feel more abandoned among people that you do by yourself. You don't owe the world anything, but you owe yourself a good life and you don't need anyone else's permission to be happy.

@Buster Crabbe His genius psychology Ph.D and bestselling Donald-anatomy author niece Mary understands him and roundly condemns his narrowly malignant narcissistic, megalomanically autocratic character. As does his elder sister, retired US Court of Appeals Judge Maryann Trump Barry, who said that in high school Donald never read a book (hence, e.g., his limited vocabulary and ambit of ideas and historical facts), that she had to tutor him, and that someone else took his college entrance exams for him. Donald once claimed that as his physicist Uncle John was in on the ground floor of developing the nuclear bomb, there were big brains in his gene pool. But when first campaigning for US president, he publicly asked, we have nukes -- why don't we use them? (Shudder.)

Even knowing more than 99.9% of people in the world, I know nothing. There are entire libraries full of information that I will never get to, and that's just in English. There are also vast libraries in French, Spanish, German, even Latin, and I don't speak any of those languages. Then there's more than a thousand years of written Chinese history, and I don't know a single character. I sometimes feel like those astronauts confronted with the vastness of space... Most of my life from childhood up to now has been from this video. I was raised in a Mexican American family. However, I was more drawn to Japanese culture and language. At times, I even studied Japanese more than Spanish, and even did better in Japanese. My fashion style was more conservative than my relatives; even my choices of Japanese jazz music and art culture. Now, I’m always hungry for self-learning and self-improvement. I enjoy positive thinking and self-reflection materials. Thanks so much for this video. I was once asked why I’ve never dated within my own race. I told that person, “I don’t know. I’m just not interested and not drawn into by that sort of person. Just because I am doesn’t mean I am.”

It is also extremely pleasing to find that there are so many other highly intelligent people around even if they do self-identify. What concerns me, though, is that, given the large number of HIP's, why the world is in such a mess. Perhaps, if just some of the self-identifiers exchanged a little of their hubris for a dose of humility it would make things a little better. Just a thought...

My biggest problem with being intelligent, is because this makes me understand young girls, who love me for it, and then I'm called a dirty old man. I've had the police called on me 5 different times so far. One time, they pulled me over on the highway and shook me down like a dangerous criminal. These things mess with my mind, like PTSD. Nothing ever comes of these police incidents, though. I was recently in the middle of a neighborhood scandal, for being too friendly with my teenage niece and her friends. The parents tried to have me arrested. Can you believe, the police took sides with the parents. I had to get a lawyer. I've never touched any young girl.

Highly intelligent people may, from curiosity; and/or too often having to defend their life values, preferences and choices against less intelligent people, may watch YT videos like this for moral and logical support, validation from like intellects. Why are you watching this video, and commenting on it? Nothing better to do or think about?

"Highly intelligent people don't watch RUclips videos to feel good about themselves”.
Only low IQ people watch RUclips videos to feel good about themselves. 😊. Have you figured out how stupid your comment is? Not yet. Think about it, it may take a long time for you to figure it out.

Acquiring vast amounts of knowledge and doing nothing with it is completely worthless.
Knowing one thing.. having wisdom and doing it well is invaluable.

Does anybody share the same problem as me? Whenever I try to make friends I talk about complex problems in our society and ways I think we can solve them. Then they say that I’m boring and think that I’m smart.. Now I’m stuck with people I don’t even like at lunch tables. Any tips to fix this? Or am I just born to be alone

This whole video is all me. I'm very very curious about alot of things, B4 I get into a conversation I'd literally listen to wat the other, not afraid to apologize. Why not embrace your quirkiness..!! I make jokes about my quirkiness. I literally watch documentaries. Sometimes over & over again. Why not watch again, ya might learn something new.

High intelligence makes you a misfit in life, to where you're constantly misunderstood and called weird or strange or mentally ill. All my life I've been in trouble with different people and also the police over my innocent sense of humor, and the most serious, I was arrested and sent to the county jail over an issue related to intelligence. I feel like I don't belong in this world

The late Bob Ross has inspired me to paint. I never went to Art School but that doesn't make you shy away from your inner talent ...I hate money and that is why I always have less than $50.00 in my account, and that makes me okay. Too much money equals too many problems

Norm MacDonald spoke about intelligence when writing humor. He said people are uncomfortable being around people more intelligent than they are. So he made sure his jokes could reach as many people as possible by keeping things simple. I think that's why he was so well liked. Once I heard that that I understood why most smart people aren't very funny. Comedians, on the other hand, are very smart AND they know how to manage it. Contestants on Wait, What Don't Tell Me aren't very funny; they're too focused on impressing the audience with their 'clever wit.'

Highly intelligent can also be lazy. When they are ahead, they may relax and enjoy anything they do, but not everyone can do that, some are inclined to rush and constantly think even if they are ahead, it all depends on personality though.

Truthfully this sounds like a list of thing of people who think they are highly intelligent but are just average yet think they are brilliant. So basically its telling them what they want to hear. And being so broad about it that everyone is like "omg thats thats totally me" 😂 a lot of this things on the lost i believe are incorrect. 4:43 Charles Bukowski said "the problem with this world is that dumb people are full of confidence and intelligent people are full of doubts". Which is quite the opposite of confidente in there abilities to reach there goals.
