Why? Chubb had 1525 yds and 12 TDs and Brissett only managed a 4-7 record. Wasted Chubb's great season with a last place finish. A good QB would take advantage of a great running game, because the safeties and linebackers would have to play close to the line.

Who could have guessed that a qb known for being an interception machine would be an interception machine playing for the offensive coordinator that was fired for making Josh Allen an interception machine? Anyway. The reason this is bad is that we need to evaluate our pass catchers offensive line and running backs for the rest of the season. While Winston will throw interceptions, he also moves the ball and scores so that we can do those evaluations. DTR plays Watson like spit sputter and stall ball that makes every single player on offense look horrible.
Also averaged 2 yards per pass. If you included the interception return, he had negative pass yardage. The return was 51 yards and he passed for 18. They lost 33 with him in there.

It was because there would have been a QB controversy at the beginning of this season. The Watson haters would be clamoring for Flacco as soon as he played bad. So to avoid that they let him walk and got Jamies. So they are getting what they deserve for making these decisions. Flacco definitely would have been the better backup to start in Watson’s place.
