Crazy, I didn't expect for you to watch my video of me talking about my terrible spending habits. It's funny because I watched both your and Dave Ramsey's channels everyday talking about making good financial decisions before I go out and blow through my money. I'd love to do a shoot together, I normally film all over the US.
Graham have this man on that PODCAST!
You know that we are going to want a one year later video to see how things may or may not have changed. Also, thumbs up for more regular videos. Two months ago is too long. Lol
You have got to follow more of Dave & Graham's advice! Personal finance is 80% behavior and you make enough cash to have a comfortable life. Agree with Graham 100%.
You got a huge heart bro. Great person. Gotta put that energy into saving. You'll help much more people! Many respects to you 🙌🏼
@@LaraUAE It doesn't seem like he wants to change. First step is always to acknowledge the problem but he sees it as something to boast about
*His spending sounds like rebellion against his parents... let's talk behavioral personal finance & subconscious motives😉*
Same thoughts...
This is so fucking true man. I feel like generational wealth or the lack there of and the effects that has on us needs to be discussed more
It happens alot. In one way or another we react to our parents' teachinga on personal finance
@@justteresiah very true, i believe that's why i'm so frugal, parents & things that happen in my childhood
@@swiing444 Very true!
"If I can't decide between two options, I'll normally just buy the more expensive" ... that mindset will eventually bankrupt you even if you make an ungodly amount of money.
It's a teenager way of thinking.
It already does. I mean 135k jezz
I now see that that’s the reason ppl think spending more is better. It makes them feel good about themselves and empowered. There’s the saying ‘always buy the best and you’ll have no regrets’ which equates to buying the mirar expensive. Interesting video.
I can’t believe people think more expensive automatically means it’s better 🤦🏻♀️
It's crazy how dumb people can be while being intelligent at the same time. It is what it is.
*"He's very talented... just not with money."*

His spending habits sound like he has childhood trauma from his parent's cheapness
totally!
Yep, addictive behabvior usually stems from trauma. I wish him peace and healing for this new year.
meh Let the man love his life..... but let's keep the financial chops coming in ;)
@@raconte-moialice9509 🖤🖤🥺🥺🥺 u sound like a nice aunt
Excellent point. I know someone who GREATLY OVERSPENDS during Xmas because growing up, he only got 1 toy. His parents explained they didn't have much, but his overspending during Christmas for things he doesn't need is certainly his childhood trauma manifesting
Graham has trained us all so well, we are all getting anxiety from this guys finances lol
For real
so true
This video hurts to watch
Seriously! 😂
"OMG why is he buying Maxwell House when the Walmart brand is cheaper!?"
Seeing some of these people’s finances make me feel like I’m not doing that bad lmao
Same 😂😂
SAME! I'm a penny pincher on my salary. Now, I'm thinking: what can I cut out in my expenses?!
You should probably stop watching these😂
ikr? lol
😆😆
He works in a precarious environment. It's not a stable industry and he's spending like it's nothing. Save up my dude
Why is it not stable?
@@hecatrice2064 The creative industry is something that ebbs and flows. It's not a "necessity" in society compared to engineering, medicine, law, etc. Which means that his main source of income can dry up. Same thing with YT, you aren't guaranteed the same income on a month to month basis. For every successful YT'er, theres hundreds that fail daily. That's what I mean by precarious.
@@hecatrice2064 AK is correct. Before COVID I had steady film jobs coming in week to week but it all dried up. Thankfully it’s finally coming back but now I know how unstable it can be.
Dude, he could of payed off all of his credit card debt and a lot of his student debt this summer with that $65k, but I guess not...
ooh very true! He could have been 100% out of debt in a few months
@@konstantinmeyer8662 begone bot
@@konstantinmeyer8662 bot leave us
I was thinking the same thing, but wouldn't put it towards the student loan debt. It is probably in forbearance right now with covid and most likely has a lower interest rate than that car loan. I can not fathom an interest rate of almost 30% on a car.
Well he said he had bad credit so paying those debt payments on time would increase his credit. He could have put down a bit of money for that debt to make it go a little quicker since he still had the car note which he could build credit from there.
Every sentence the man spoke sounded like the worst thing possible to say in front of Graham LOL
Highlight was when he said he doesnt care about prices except when he cant decide between two things and gets the more expensive one LMAOOOO
@@drchtct I audibly cringed when he said that :O LOL
I was thinking the exact same thing. It is like he made the video just to get under Graham's skin
the dude has such a bad relationship with money. Wouldn't surprise me if he's broke and struggling for a few years.
“You can’t afford it.” Lol this should be a notification tone to deflect impulsive purchases 😂.
I gasped when he said "I have no money in savings"
My heart dropped in my grave hearing that!
I mean, if he had savings, he wouldn’t have $20k in American Express debt.
All my savings in Bitcoin

“He’s very talented... Just not with money” 😂
I agree man , this video stung a little bit to watch.
Just saw this😂😂
Well say hahaha
You would think being forced into driving for uber would be a wake up call.
That's a good point
That's what I said
His parents lived check to check and he saw that first hand. That is his relationship with money. Subconsciously, he is living this out.
If being broke has taught me one thing, every dollar is valuable
Money never expires.
My guy just said if he is stuck between two options, he’s going with the more expensive one 😐
Probably because the expensive choice is high quality, still I go with the cheap option because I don't have that luxurious mindset
I mean, between a corola, a civic, a Chevy cruise, and a Ford Focus
HE CHOOSE A F#*KING EMPALA!!!
@@SweetLolitaStocking This mindset is what's hurting us. Expensive doesn't always equate to high quality, just like something being cheap doesn't make it a deal. For example you can get gas from multiple stations at varying prices, but the most expensive station has the same gas quality as the cheapest station..
I'll probably pick the middle one haha
People that think that way deserve to stay broke.
29% APR for a car? I rather take Uber’s or walk. That’s so expensive lol
Yeahhhh
Also he did Uber in an unreliable car that’s gonna bring up more problems than solutions
He probably has bad credit.🤷♀️

This is how the majority of people are with everything. Look at peoples shopping carts, the ingredients in their food. It’s crazy how complicated life is to get right and how many screw up in the process royally.
Its true, most people out there live with the "i work so i can spend" or "ill just make more money tomorrow" mentality

This was painful to watch. I hope he sees this. He can afford all this one day but not now.
Sometimes (often) there’s a very good reason behind what your parents did. Because of that sometimes rebellion against what they did is counterproductive.

His confidence almost makes you feel he's doing alright 😭😭😭 Thank God we have Graham to expose the TRUTH 😅🤣
I grew up like him with really poor parents and told myself when i grew older ill buy anything i want as long as i can pay for it. The worst part is that he couldn't have possibly gotten a worst car. Sheesh.
“I’ll buy the most expensive things cause that’ll usually be the best” that’s why you got all that credit card debt bro 😬
This guy will never be a millionaire if he doesn't change his habits. I am 27 and make a half what he makes. I own a honda car, a house, have no debt, 100k in saving and stocks.
He never said he wanrs to be a millionaire. Some people wanna buy things to enjoy for the work they put in instead of chasing a number. He wants to live in the moment. Respect what anyone does with their money.
@@hecatrice2064 yeah, no. This guy is one missed paycheck away from serious trouble because he wants to "live in the moment". No way I'm respecting that
@@hecatrice2064 he said he wants to earn a specific by age 30 so that tells us he desires a certain lifestyle. Unfortunately, he'll be earning that much and still be broke. 29% interest was so foolish
Hes trying to flex. Living this rich looking lifestyle to impress those around him. Humble himself down, live better
That’s the Atlanta way
I disagree. I think he spends stupidity for himself. He's making alot of money and could be easily spending less and investing alot of it while having a saving account
No he started out poor and never got the best of anything so now that he has money he wants what he thinks is the best of everything the most expensive thing etc
I love this! Do more small RUclipsrs like this. This guy's video quality is amazing.
This guy is exactly me, when I was still studying I made at highest 30k a month doing videos . I always spend so much that at the end I end up with gambling addiction and lost everything. I sold my camera, and have to burrow money to recover. Fast forward 8 years, I’m now much more financially educated because of grapham and other financial RUclipsr
Dave Ramsey says you can't out earn your own stupidity
Yep. I know people who earn $500k+ per year and are broke and drowning in debt.
What a Christian thing for Cultist Dave Ramsey to say 🤦♀️
Seems like he’s working hard to earn his money, but he’s spending it like it was handed to him

Love that you are reviewing the smaller channels, with real people discussing their spending. You gave very constructive and helpful financial advice, he has a good heart and is very generous to others. However you are so right that it shouldn't be at the price of him going into deeper debt.

@@CreativeC13 Absolutely. I feel that. Not exactly the same but my dad worked for Goodwill as long as I remembered and could barely pay his rent and gas for his 70's Oldsmobile pile of junk so I told myself that I'd never be like that. I enjoyed the bit about helping yourself before you can help others. That is one thing that is to get across to people. Especially if it is a person who naturally considers themselves to be generous.
