Target failed opening in Canada, they closed all stores after a year. Apparently they waited too long and Walmart had lots of exclusive deal with distributors here so Target could not compete.
"I'm a fan of Target" - Graham offends every Canadian viewer with one innocent statement. 😂
Target also closing a lot in Australia and being replaced by Kmart (not sure if it's the same Target though)
I love how Target assumed Canadians didn't have any awareness of their U.S. prices. Most of us live within a few hours of the border and have this thing called the internet 🤦

In response to the “why doesn’t she just live in X location where rent is so much cheaper than nyc?” comments: if you watch Hannah’s videos, you can tell how much she genuinely loves living in New York and her quality of life is a lot better for it. I totally get living somewhere cheaper to save money, but I don’t think it’s as simple as X is cheaper than Y, so you should live in Y. Not everything is about saving the most about of money possible (though I get that this channel is about people who want to build up their personal wealth so maybe this isn’t the right demographic to be saying this lol)
Hannah is literally awesome. An incredible roll model and has worked so hard for what she has. Frankly, she can do WHATEVER she pleases and I would never be dissatisfied

I think a reason why people buy so much at Target is that they always grab a cart, knowing that they are only going in for a few things. If I'm going to the store for only a few things, I only grab a basket and won't get anything that wasn't on my list
Hannah is a harworking girl. And its her choice to buy and spend whatever she chooses too. She deserves it.

I have never lived in NYC.. I also cannot see myself paying that amount in rent either. Especially as a content creator, you can literally make digital content anywhere. I just could not stomach shelling that much out for a RENTAL. YIKES!

A normal cup of coffee costs more than $1 in New York. Same on the LV Strip. When you cringe about the prices, don't forget that commercial rents in New York are among the highest in the country.

Just imagine the wasted paper.
Razors are so expensive - BUT if you buy a proper metal razor that lasts forever, you can get the replacement straight blades in bulk for next to nothing. It's saved me *literally* hundreds since buying it years ago.

I feel like Target is this weird middle ground. It's not a fancy expensive store and its also not a cheap discount store. I don't shop there because if I want to go to a boutique store, i'll go somewhere else and if I just want something cheap I'll go to walmart.

suggestion for bankroll coffee: the names are annoying lmao. theyre fine but it makes it really hard to tell WHAT kind of coffee it is, so I have to go in and click into each and every single coffee bag. just tell me what kind of actual COFFEE it is on the list

I live in NYC, at her age many people who wanted to afford the city and save had roommates. But to each their own, hope she's saving for her future.
Almost 3000 for rent is insane to me. That's not far off from tripling my rent. When you're working a job that doesn't require you to be in a certain city you can always go move to a different city with a better cost of living. But it depends on whether or not you want to move away from your current location.

I live in NYC, and honestly, in Finance, my job as a credit analyst here pays more than double it did in Florida. My rent is $2,300. Yes, it's insane compared to Florida at $1,000 but even with taxes. I max out my retirement and save more than double here. People easily say move to a lower cost of living without considering salaries. I'd rather make 140K in NYC than 60K in Florida. Also, your next job in NYC might pay you 200K in terms of Finance, your next job in Florida would probably bump you to 70K.

I don’t think Graham knows or cares what it’s like to be a woman on social media. Seriously, “just ignore it”? I’m sure Graham would get very offended if someone insinuated that his money wasn’t his, that he didn’t earn what he had. Well, that is what it’s like to be a woman. So many people constantly invalidating your work, trying to take credit for *your* achievements. I’m not gonna ignore that, and she shouldn’t have to either. What Graham said came from an incredibly privileged position (he is a white man after all) and he should educate himself on misogyny if he’s gonna comment on the female experience.

I swear young American RUclipsrs/influencers waste a lot of money. I’d be paying off a small house on big block of land. Keep my expenses as low as possible and save the rest.

I live in Pennsylvania and rent is 1125 for a two bedroom apartment utilities included ! Restaurants and stores in walking distance love it here.

Graham is not the same when you pour regular hot coffee to ice to make it an ice coffee! haha Ice coffee has more coffee so when it blends with water it can still have that coffee taste. If it's not like that, it would be an coffee tea.... get it xD
Hey Graham I think the math on the rent was wrong. Should have been 730 times 52 divided by 12. Puts her rent about 3163 not 2920.
