@@jalarconcedeno because they gave the director the freedom to be an artist. Its not another generic comic book movie thats manufactured from the visions of a corporation and businessmen. We need movies to be more like art, rather than using the same template over and over again.
I don't think it's fantastic or a great film by any means, but I did have fun with it and I did enjoy it. It's a fun time no doubt!

Boii but I still like it. This movie is so much fun in my opinion because I'm a die hard Harley fan. Every movie has it's own vibes, aesthetic and stuff and everyone has different feelings for it so it hits different people on other levels. And if people don't like a movie I like it's totally fine but nowadays I feel like no one can do a movie right. Everytime the people say: ,,ooh that's trash" and it just makes me sad. Movies are fun. Enjoy them and don't question everything. Be open.

Will Smith was too big and high profile, Joker's design was terrible and the editing butchered the plot involving him but I don't think it's as bad as people claim it was. These days it's as if there is no decent movies. Everything has to be either Oscar worthy or a flop. It was certainly much better than Justice League. That movie is the worst of the DCU.

I don’t agree. If the joker died the rest of these movies wouldn’t feel the same. What I really want is Harley to get the credit she deserves. The movies describe her as more insane and braver than the joker. Most of the jokers master plans were made by Harley. Her voice in the trailers sounds like it has hints of Minnesotan in it and definitely sounds bassier to me. It's kinda weird.
I thought the one she used in SS was more stereotypical NY with bits of Sorkin and Tara Strong but liked it well enough.
Chandasouk I prefer the accent in this one, although I have no knowledge of how it is supposed to be, it sounds more natural to me
@@Laurap01 you can check out Arleen Sorkin and Tara Strong voice her in cartoons. She's had a few voice actors but they are most popular. Margot definitely takes from them which is good IMO. "Mistah J!" Would not sound the same otherwise lol
Chandasouk I’ve watched the animated series, love her voice. I think Margot does a good job of keeping the essence of the voice while changing it to be appropriate for live action.
@@Laurap01 For sure. She loses the accent a few times in SS, usually during physical scenes but it was pretty good for the most part. In the BOP trailers, it sounds different to me and I'm not sure if I like it yet lol.

@@Cj-xt6tv I am entitled to my opinion. I liked the character portrayal from Ewan McGregor. It's like when Todd Philips mentioned Joker wasnt the typical Jack Napier character many DC fans anticipated but instead got this Arthur Fleck character.
I can remove my own personal feelings about a character & enjoy a standalone performance. I also don't need anyone to explain to me what I should feel or like.

While I did think they wasted a lot of Black Mask's potential when it came to character development and that he should have stuck around for at least one more film (so his character could be explored more), he was a fun villain and Ewan McGregor did a great job with his performance.
To be fair, with movies & movie universes it's unlikely that we've seen the last of BM.

Just saw this movie couple days ago and I gotta say Margot Robbie & Ewan McGregor made the movie really fun and enjoying!

I genuinely don’t understand the people saying this movie is trash. In my opinion, it was one of DC’s
best films. It was 10 times better than Suicide Squad, and I actually didn’t hate that film either. I adored the female empowerment, and loved Black Canary. The characters chosen beside Harley were actually interesting enough to make the film good. I wish we could have seen more of now Joker and Harley’s relationship fell apart, but I don’t fully blame them because they probably didn’t have anyone to play Joker since the new Joker film blew Jared Letto’s Joker out of the water.

I’m noticing in these interviews they always ignore Ella and the other actors talk over her. You can see Ella seems over it so she doesn’t bother. Wish at least one of her cast mates had her back and was like YO LET THE KID TALK
Very true , I don't know if she's over it though , maybe she's just shy/introverted or self-conscious as many 13 year-olds are ? But it'd defininitely be nice to hear more about her view on the film. Hopefully she'll provide commentary or something when it's released on Blu-Ray/DVD.

Even though the movie was absolutely great, I miss Joker. Harley only exists because of him and their love is very complexe, they seem to hate each other and yet Mr.J still protects her and shows her that he loves her, in his own twisted way.
I know that lots of ppl don't like Jared Leto's Joker but I thought he is very hot and still got the craziness on tape, so I think it would be great to have him as Joker in a movie together with Harley, played by Margot Robbie, again.
I 100% agree, as a huge joker fan I’d say he’s my least favourite however Jared did an okay job for someone who’s only done 1970 rom coms, and yeah that joker was definitely hot.
Ella Jay Basco is the niece of Dante Basco ("Rufio" in the movie "Hook"). She looks like her uncle. She also looks like Orano, the lead singer the band "Super Organism".
