- In this video, Katie Jansma shows you how to install a Dynatrac ProRock 44 front axle in a 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. This is an easy upgrade that most people with moderate automotive skill can do themselves in a garage or driveway, and is a great upgrade for a Jeep JK to replace the factory Dana 30 or Dana 44.

Very good tutorial. Thanks for taking the time to film it.
GREAT HOW TO VIDEO! I've had both of my stock axles removed in the driveway, that lift makes things so much faster and easier for sure.
Would gladly share garage space with such a capable set of hands 😎👍
Great job on the video! Looks easy enough that even I could do it.
so concise. good video. someday I’ll have enough money to get one of those... and 37’s... and new gears... and new wheels.... and bigger brakes.
I admire her ability to keep her nails looking good. I always end up thrashing my longer nails I use for guitar.
Wish i had a garage like that to work in. That would make working on my keep so much simpler.
Thanks for the video. I just ordered this axle from Dynatrac. I’ve got 12 weeks to decide if I want to tackle it myself or take it to the shop.
Good time to clean up and paint that knuckle. Nice job!
Dang great video
Great tutorial. Thanks. But it was difficult to look at the Jeep 😜
Best asmar video jeep version
can you all do the install for the ProRock 60 next?
I miss wheeling with you KJ, let’s make Moab happen soon.
Awesome video ! One question Isn’t the front driveshaft too long now due to the snout on the PR44 being longer? or is it negligible ?
Made it look easy
What a cutie
Do the axle housings use factory size seals when doing a housing swap?
What type of a drag link and tie rod are those?
OMG I LOVE HER
Wait there was a Jeep in the video?
Great video btw, great step by step!
Need her do a video about how to get nut off the driveshaft!
😂
Jun Wang 🤪
I’ve been eyeballing those axles for a while now, sadly I can’t afford the upgrade. I want them really bad.
I need her to help me install my Dynatrac pro rock 44/60
Tienen disponible Para toyota hilux 95?
And I thought I was the only one that used hockey pucks for bump stop spacers. Guess not.
So much hotter than Eddie....
What's the total average time for an 1-person JK dana 44 crate axle swap, at a professional shop? And before people reply: No, I'm not a pro mechanic, I'm not a DIY person. Thanks.
Solid 4 day weekend. Learned the hard way due to seized bolts, broken abs sensors, and only having 2 hands. Make sure you have lots of Jacks, and get a solid crawler to rest your old axle on once it's out. I still needed a hand on some parts of the install
@@Team_Nacho_Moto ..So - 4 days as an answer to my question, at a pro shop. LOL. I'm guessing a 6hr day at a pro shop, excluding lunch
@@ifp123 my bad man, I skipped over the "at a professional shop" part. Yeah 6 hours seems about right for a shop. It took me a while on mine bc of me not having a shop, breaking parts, it being my first time, doing gear install with new shafts as well, and also doing the job in my garage.
Jeeps are simple vehicles, small enough anyone can work on.
all we see is Blue eyes
dam she can outwork 1/5 the guys on youtube
That look at 1:34 though!
No need for mechanic gloves - get after it girl.
Respect for getting your hands dirty, but it is a good idea to be waring gloves as oils and brake materials are harmful.
Where are your gloves girl ?
Chuck Germany, not everyone wears gloves. I don’t wear gloves unless I have too.
gene coppedge
That is your choice. I choose not to get hydrocarbons in my skin and busting up my hands because i am clumsy. Also 60 years old.
Chuck Germany, I’m 60 years old too, 59 model. Normally when working on vehicles I don’t wear gloves unless there’s too many sharp objects or too hot and I’ve been working on vehicles for 40 years
Gloves? Oh, you mean bitch mittens?
Somebody get that pretty girl a pair of gloves please
Wear some gloves Woman!
