I wish people were making games with such attention to home/base building, npc inteeractions and story as most cozy games do, that weren't actually cozy. I want good combat and more of a dark fantasy or at least a serious story while being able to build up a town, have a house etc in a game. And that is so so rare.
Hey, you might have heard of it already, but there is actually a game that I think you might really enjoy! (Could be wrong tho😅) it’s currently early access, but it’s called Nightingale. It’s basically a fantasy world where you can build and fight creatures! It looks really cool as well, hope this helps if you haven’t heard of it already! 😊

I like Hogwarts for this, but it's not as pretty on the Switch.

Ooh, Under Canopies gives me big Among Trees vibes, which I loved playing, but it was never really finished, and probably never will be, so I'm looking forward to something that can fill that little void!

I'm most looking forward to Grimoire Groves, the demo is so fun on the Steam Deck. Also I can't wait for Creatures of Ava, it hooked me right from the beginning of the demo!

The rest don't look as polished and neat to me. Hopefully, the developers will improve their look as they continue to work on them.

I agree, the painted style of Rooster is fabulous, Woodo looks adorable and I love Hotel Galactic's love letter to Studio Ghibli.
I love ghibli movies *o* I have howl' moving castle and spirited away as dvds :3 So I can't wait for hotel galactic.

I think you should call this cozy news rather than exciting news. This doesn’t make me feel excited, it makes me feel comfortable. That’s something that surprisingly missing from news.

Great, I was getting tired of playing zombie shooters, zombie mobile ad spamming games, zombie cure labs, zombie simulators, etc. I swear the zombie genre is almost as epidemic in gaming as it is in fantasy.
