- In 2010, Warby Parker disrupted the $150 billion global eyewear industry with a pair of $95 glasses. Started by four business school students, the pioneering direct-to-consumer eyewear brand has now sold millions of pairs of glasses, both online and in 269 brick-and-mortar stores across the U.S. and Canada. It brought in nearly $670 million in revenue last year, and currently boasts a market value of $1.8 billion.

The BIGGEST LIE You've Been Told About Money is that it doesn't grow on TREES!!
I agree with you!! Money actually grow on trees but only on trees that was planted by you!! These tress are referred to as investments. How you diversify your investment portfolio matters
Diversification is the key. My portfolio is well diversified with the help of a financial adviser. This helps me make more than +400% monthly on my investments.
I'm intrigued by this. I've searched for financial advisers online but it's kind of hard to get in touch with one. Okay if I ask you for a recommendation??
I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Julianne Iwersen Niemann” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look her up.
Wow, her track record looks really good from what I found online. I'll take a chance and see how it goes. Thanks for the info
We Are in Unchartered Financial Waters! every day we encounter challenges that have become the new standard. Although we previously perceived it as a crisis, we now acknowledge it as the new normal and must adapt accordingly. Given the current economic difficulties that the country is experiencing in 2024, how can we enhance our earnings during this period of adjustment? I cannot let my $680,000 savings vanish after putting in so much effort to accumulate them.
Keeping some gold is usually a wise decision. You would be better off keeping away from equities for a bit or, even better, seeking advice from an expert given the current market conditions and everything that is at risk with the current economy.
I've been in touch with a financial analyst ever since I started investing. Knowing today's culture The challenge is knowing when to purchase or sell when investing in trending stocks, which is pretty simple. On my portfolio, which has grown over $900k in a little over a year, my adviser chooses entry and exit orders.
Mind if I ask you to recommend this particular coach you using their service? Seems you've figured it all out.
My CFA NICOLE ANASTASIA PLUMLEE a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further... She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market..
.
Thank you for the lead. I searched her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.
They now sell expensive lenses at physical locations. They literally became exactly what they tried to tear down.
They said in store prices are $95…
@@vl1180 They have some nicer dynamic designs for more than $100. Yet majority remain around $95!
I had no idea there company had been launched 15 years ago
I enjoyed owning a pair, but they are not as good as they used to be. But i respect their market cap well done
So technically, they didn't disrupt anything hahaha
Most overpumped stock. 60 bucks at launch now down to 15. Manipulation to cash in by the founders.
amazing growth of a business. still not profitable is surprising
Because they do and still
Underestimate their cost. But lenders will look at their growth potential and cash flow and still lend them money. But it’s not sustainable man…a lot of business bubbles have burst that way.
And they’re still not profitable 😂🤣🤡
Cheap prices and giving away free eye ware probably contributed to that
I tried to order glasses online. Put in my prescription info and everything. They kept emailing me back for more info about my lenses. I'm like isnt this their job? So I just cancelled my order.
The Japanese eyewear brand Jins is better, they get your glasses made in 30 minutes. Their quality is so good and lightweight!
Jins and quality in the same sentence...? If you have a prescription maybe, but their tests are NOT high quality. I'm glad you had a positive experience with them but imo Megane Ichiba (which is only a bit more expensive than Jins) glasses last longer and are cheaper in the long run.
Never heard of them but I know of zenni
I only heard of zenni from Professor of Rock 😂
Not profitable but each CEO makes $400k welcome to the twisted world of Csuite lol
The measure of profit depends on multiple factors so don't always trust the net income on P&L. If the financial statements were alarming you would see a drop in stock . I'm sure the value Created (EBITDA) is fairly positive , it's how they decide to spend that surplus ( in R&D expenses for example ) that make them not profitable
400k for Csuite Executives is not that crazy.
I have been more and more unhappy with them as of late. My insurance benefits didn’t ring up correctly. Customer service doesn’t know anything about insurance. They used to replace lenses but don’t anymore. Now you have to get a whole new set for a $50 discount. Don’t know what happened but definitely has gone downhill the past few years
Used to like them but the prices are not great anymore
Summary: WE ARE LUXOTTICA NOW!!!
Luxoticca bought them?
They’re not even close
$700 glasses make no sense. No way that price is justified.
If they are hand made it is.
@@hatshepsutiv most of warby parker's glasses are not. Only boutique brands are worth that money.
The 1st time I realized I could buy glasses online, all over it! I've never purchased from some over price optometrist office ever again!
I didn't know they had retail locations. Thanks to this video, I found a location near me. Crazy that they were initally planning to sell the glasses for $45.
Creating wealth entails establishing positive routines, such as consistently setting aside funds at regular intervals for sound investments. Financial management is a vital subject that many avoid, often leading to future regrets. I wish everyone reading this the best of luck in achieving success!
You're right
Starting crypto trade was the best decision I ever made
speaking of crypto trading I know I am blessed if not I wouldn't have met someone who is as spectacular as mrs Caitlin albrecht
The very first time i tried, i invested $2000 and after a week, i received $19000. That really helps me a lot to pay up bills
As a beginner investor, it's essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. My self, I'm guided by Caitlin Albrecht. A widely known crypto consultant
They shouldn’t have listen to their professor and go with $45 price tag, to compete with Zenni!
If you price low customers will not buy because they assume something is wrong with the product if it’s too cheap.
@@vl1180 No they wouldn’t, word of mouth and quality of product would have taken care of that and change the precipitation and hearts of customers long term and now they are who they once despised.
"let's take lens crafters and undercut their price."
Not only are they affordable but their marketing is unique and effective!!!
I have 2 pairs from them. They’re stylish and comfortable.
It's literally plastic. You're paying for the lenses. They literally became what they pretended they weren't going to. E
They made everything costly, like the worst company for Americans to deal with when comes to eyewear.
Could you make the next review about eyeglasses brand "Gentle Monster"
the quality has gone downe. I've owned two pairs and won't buy from them anymore
I have eyeglasses and sunglasses from Warby Parker and they are the best!
lol i used to work at a luxotica manufacturing plant. bunch a sorry a$$ people ther. i thot they went out of buines
🤓
So, lenskart but not as good...
The worst companies are the ones that have been around for so long yet not profitable
"Strategy is what we say no to" - pure fact.

Love their story and mission!
Watching with my WP on 😂
I wear face- a- face only.
Horrible quality

Still over price! $95 dollars? Only in America.
Zenni is better. I buy some for less than 20usd
*Your explanations are clear and straight forward It's always a honor to have you here as a mentor, I appreciate you for the time being spent to educate us financially. Regardless of how bad it gets the economy, I still makeover $28K every single week. I truly value Mary, and her helpful guides.*
The first step to successful investment is figuring your goals and risk tolerance either on your own or with the help of a financial professional but it's very advisable you make use of professional.
You just mentioned Expert Mary, Indeed, wow that woman has been an incredible mentor to me, imparting a deep understanding of the economy that I wish college had provided.
I know Mary, she has really set the standard for others to follow, we love her here in the UK as she has been really helpful and changed lots of lives.
Interesting! But I'm new here. How can I get to this person's guidelines??
@MaryPete79
Never heard of it
Of course it's two white guys
too expensive... this is just another trash vanity company for the rich
Two ceos to big egos. Bad business.
