I like the theory that Urotsuki can explore other people's dreams, hence why the game is so big. Here, I imagined she's going through Madotsuki's dreams, this being the block world. Only difference is that everything is overgrown and flooded because well, the world here was abandoned a long time ago...
I like to think that the dream world industrialized the hell out of itself since 2004 and some dreamworld workers attempted to make block world more “modern”
The Radiant Ruins, yet another deeper location inside the mind of our protagonist. While the path to this world is clearly quite the large one, it is a rewarding path to take. From the stellar visuals to the calming and tranquil music, this is likely one of my favorite locations in the game. It also leads to the Bottom Garden, which is another one of my favorites.
Highly agree with Jordan-- I really like scrolling down to see what little snippet of info you've written, it's an equal mix of analyzing the location while also adding your own interpretative spin on it. These comments may have been posted four years ago, but I still very much appreciate them.
@@jdc311 According to what I have read in the wiki and other places, Wataru was either having some sort of conflict with the team or mostly a decline in mental health, to a point where it was considered more prudent to quit the project. There's still the download links on the wiki for the last version of the game where Wataru's assets are in.
This was definitely one of my favorite locations in the game, the track is one of the most relaxing and enjoyable ones. It feels nice revisiting this place in the older version of the game. ^^
the world did get removed yes, but Bright Forest/Rainbow Ruins in The Second Nexus reuses this song now so if you came for the music check that place out
sorry i know this is 8 years ago and the game was a different version, but at the first time, it's very annoying but once you get the forest pier place you can get the shortcut in uro's dream apartment :D

I have a theory that most of Urotsuki's dreams aren't actually hers - she can just lucid dream so well that she can explore other dream worlds. This, however, feels like something she would actually dream about.
someone else in the comment section said that if the theory is true, this is probably block world from yume nikki, but overgrown because it was abandoned a long time ago
My favorite part of this place (besides this awesome theme, obviously) is that it uses the not-Aztec Rave Monkey from the TV Room in the background, like how some Nexus worlds in Yume Nikki did that.

That would explain madotsuki's room being in the game
that explains the.flow-esque areas a lot such as blood world
I wonder what kind of fucked up thing the person that made flesh paths saw
noice.
I've been using this song to study for years now, and whenever I listen to it, it reminds me of how much I have grown over the past few years :o)
this is now one of my comfort songs. it reminds me of an guardian figure telling their child it's all going to be alright
Same!

man haven't heard that one before
I really need to change my name
It’s almost like you’re some kind of tour-guide helping advertise different locations to visit

aaasamee!! it takes a while to get to radiant ruins but it's so worth it!
Man, RIP to this place. Hope wataru is okay. :(
I know, some of the most beautiful and memorable scenes in the game are now all gone. Did they ever say why they were leaving? I hope they're alright.
@@marioandtyler nobody knows why they left, not even the devs, they just requested their maps not to be talked about :(

i just wish i had the words to describe how sad-happy this track makes me feel
Bittersweet?
sappy
lol jk the word is bittersweet just like hank hill said here
Reminds me of the song "Dearly Beloved" from the Kingdom Hearts games.
yume 2kki, it's been 2 or 3 years since i've last gotten into it kinda nice to see this in my recommended.
This track feels to me like taking solace in a bad memory.

I wish I had speakers all over my house so I can have the calm OST of Yume 2kki quietly playing while I do stuff in the house
......headphones.......😐
@@lukas.andrew DAMN YOU I WAS GONNA SAY THAT
My most favorite place in the whole entire game. I really love this soundtrack! ^-^
Mine is this and Japan Town ♥
thanks, baphomet kun..
This song makes me feel at ease
Sounds like a numerous funeral ceremony, when everyone is awake through the night and mourn the deceased
I finally found my way to the radiant Ruins. It's so cool! But annoying because it's such a huge place and yea...but i enjoyed the music!

I have bungled,

I like it!
Something beautiful about a struggle so mundane.
A lot of the tracks from this game series remind me of feelings of isolation, wonder and hope. It's so pretty
This helped my dog and I sleep . Its very calming ( ^ w ^ ).
Me too, it's one of my favorite world in this game. The music is so relaxing :)

Same soundtrack as Bright Forest and Rainbow Ruins. Still good.
