This is a very interesting piece of footage. I've always researched mixing and production facts threw the years "Which include's sampling facts", and when I discovered the Dust Brothers I was really thrown back. To this day, "Car Thief" on Paul's Boutique remain's one of my favorite sample based tracks. It's just so funky sounding. Then you add the Beastie Boys.....Holly Smokes. I love the line Mike D says in that song..... "I had a beautiful experience on Ecstasy" so much that I decided to try it my self. Then music took to all new levels for me, but back to the Dust Brothers. When I was younger I admired what they did so much and had no clue they where behind most of the sounds I loved. Delicious Vinyl was a huge discovery in my quest for production knowledge. At least when it comes to what I like to make. It was raw and funky, and touched upon different time periods in the late 80s and threw the 90s. Groups like Pharcyde opened doors for me that I could not gather from Cold Cut alone. So its nice to see they played a part in another very influential song I admired. Len Struck gold with Andrea True Connections break. That crazy bouncy bass line and fucking sonar pop drum hit noise made me dance every time. I saw an interview about how it was sampled one night after the Len crew got back from a party. I used to do the same thing around that time. My gang and I would roll and dance all night, then go back to the crib early morning and we would play tons of records. Most of my friends would play stuff for there listening pleasure, but I always had an ear out for samples. "You Cant Stop the Bum Rush" was one of them albums that made me go out and buy my first MPC. as well as Bran Van 3000's Glee album (Not produced by the Dust Brothers). Anyways I could ramble on for ever so I'm just gonna say, thanks for posting! It's all making more sense to me as the years go on. I got mad love for Len and moving forward into the future. but it's always good to take a look back once and a while to discover new things.

That was a real stroke of genius sampling that piece of music that is at the end of " More , More , More " by Andrea True Connection !!!

More More More sampled an older track. I can't remember what it was. I think it was a Marvin Gaye song.

That was probably the most cliched video I've seen. Laying down some sweet tracks in the studio.
