My 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme never performed like this one.😅 It had the anemic 4.3 liter V8. That translates into 260 cubic inches. I've always loved the lines of this particular year! That thing should have a label on the shifter that says "Beast Mode", because that thing is a fantastic beast!!! Restomods are cool and with that tag, this one is the coolest!!!
My step father had one of these when I was 16 or 17..it was silver and had T-Tops...idk if it was a 79 or not, but it was this body style and It. Was. Awesome!

wow, scary! this is one car i would never buy, or maybe even drive, but Lou, wow, unbelievable and awesome racing machine, especially for the size. i love the paint scheme to go along with the monster under the hood and the roar of the exhaust, (it says move over, get out of the way lol) a real "fooler", especially at a red light when somebody thinks they have something faster!! love it thanx!

About the only thing cool after about '71 or maybe '72 was the vet. Kinda neat to see this anyway, even if it's a late model, outside the era. Still makes for a fun toy anyway. More of a sleeper than a muscle but hey, someone's gunna have some fun. I sure hope they're careful on the streets.

Two years waiting seems like a long time, but sometimes the wait is worth it. It would be interesting to know the particulars, e.g., whose engine, more about the trans, and what shape the donor car. For me - video way too short for such an interesting car. It is far from being a 1979 Olds.
My last name is Schwartz And I own a '79 Hurst/Olds myself!! Mine is also modded. But Mine is kept close to stock as possible. The car is absolutely not a real '79 Hurst Olds for MANY reasons!! It's just a regular Cutlass repainted to SIMULATE a real '79 Hurst Olds. The interior color and all is not even remotely close. And a real one has factory blue bolts under the hood and more. I'm sure the VIN is not legit. I've owned a real one since '93 and this has real flag problems all over it. And NOBODY every removes the factory Hurst Shifter!! That is the entire car existence and that is ALL aftermarket. The stock shifter is good enough to keep!!

dont plan on taking that to a drag strip because it wont pass tech it's actually a Hurst Olds.w-30 meant nothing by then.They came with a 350. putting a BBC in that car was just the cheap way out. wheels are butt ugly. not really impressed by this build.
