Out on Beaver Patrol ? let's take a look

On the trail of the elusive Trentham beavers in North Staffordshire England the area is fenced off especially from the river Trent to stop them escaping tricky to spot dusk is a favourite time when they venture out to explore the area .

Fun to have a place where you can see beavers! They've sure been busy eating away at the small trees and shrubs. Sure was a cold one, just a few squirrels and birds about. Hi Glyn loved this. We saw an otter in Grantham on the river Witham a few weeks ago was really exciting. Would be great to see a Beaver 🦫can't say either of us have ever seen one in the wild. Glyn, lovely to see you out there stretching those legs and breathing that fresh (yes cold) air. We have beavers here quite close to us as we live on the doorstep of National Park De Biesbosch. Ours don't have to build dams as the area is tidal. They do however build lodges with the entrance under water to protect themselves from predators. Busy Beavers active there for sure.
