Have you learned how to sharpen the blades? I have the same mower and love it. Also, thanks for pointing out the handle can be raised. I'm going to raise mine as well after seeing your video.

I watched a few videos on how to sharpen, and tried with mix results. That mower was very cool but I sold because of lack of space. I sold to a guy who was pretty stoked to get it, so I'm sure he uses it.

Thank you for showing it mowing too!
The height adjustment on the handle is very important because a gentle downward push should bring the drive wheels off the ground and let you make turns on the rear roller only.
No need to use the clutch then as often.
That way you can turn around after each pass and you will leave stripes.
I am sure you know this but maybe it will help someone else that sees your neat machine!

Thanks Wayne, took me a bit to get use to it (still a fight) Still pretty fun to run. I need to find out how to sharpen the blade(s).

Woody's Garage They do have a mind of their own when you go over uneven ground and they change directions a bit.
Machinesandmetal and Andrew Berry have good backlapping videos but first, back off the adjustment for the bottom blade (bed knife) and carefully see if you can wiggle the shaft that has the reel on it.
If its snug, all is well, if its loose, the bearings on its ends need attention.
Once your sure those bearing are good and the reel spins without slop then do your sharpening and adjusting.
Have fun and be ready for spring!

I just went out and gave her a run. The shaft seems tight, and the blades have not self sharpened like I had hoped..lol. Thanks I will check out those channels.

Woody's Garage They tell important details like that you may need to repeat the back lapping several times to get a good result, and not to be discouraged by that. Still, a professional and a pro grind will set you up and then you can maintain it yourself. Not letting the cutting surfaces get rusty is important to keeping it sharp for long periods. A spray of water after mowing, a generous squirt of wd-40 and running it for a moment will preserve your hard work.
      I will shut up now!
