I was just wanting to learn about VA business loans and I didn't expect to run into another Navy veteran. I've been driving 18 wheelers in-between the otr and the oilfield for the past 10 years. I want to invest in drone analytics and I appreciate all of the great advice. Happy 4th of July I've got a load of beer headed to Milwaukee.

I am really glad you found my channel! I apologize it took me so long to get to your comment. Kind of a stupid question, but what is drone analytics?

@@MysteryofMoney So basically you get a drone that can carry a decent payload and outfit that with lidar, infrared imaging, or thermal red green blue sensors. With lidar you can beam out laser pulses that build a 3D model of any given target area up with up to 10cm of accuracy. Basically high detailed surveys that take a fraction of the time they use to take.

Rates are as low as they are because there are too many drivers. If there were not enough drivers, they would not be underbidding each other for what little freight there is.

I don't disagree. I think there are a lot of mega carriers hauling for low rates because they need the volume. Hopefully we can hold out until it gets better.

@@MysteryofMoney they are hauling for low rates because they benefit from cost averaging, bulk sales of maintenance, fuel, and vehicles. Then turn around and also scrape the bottom of the barrel for people that don't know any better and pay them slave wages. They are also self-insured.
