youre amazing! found this randomly and recognized you from scorch marker right away. thank you so much. watching all the sales tax videos now. I feel the same way you did!!!!
@vanader question for those who know: Business is registered in Pennsylvania. I live in New York (and my inventory is here in my apartment). Need to register for sales tax in both states it seems. BUT If I sell a 70 dollar shirt to someone in Colorado, will shopify just sell the shirt at $70 straight up plus shipping and not charge any tax? Assuming i am still under financial nexus in Colorado, Would the customer pay no sales tax? So I wouldnt collect any tax or owe any tax for this sale?
Is there a threshhold for Physical Nexus ? If im physically based in Louisiana, then I will collect and pay taxes to state of Louisiana for sales made in Louisiana ?
awesome video man. What if your inventory is overseas? And what if your LLC is out of state (delaware) and you live in new york? Should i file both New York and Delaware state taxes or delaware? regardless of order number and regardless of the 100k threshold? How does that work, does it only apply to New York and Delaware customers?
Charging sales tax for places outside your home state is government overreach. It's not reasonable to put on small businesses and the "services" to help with it amounts to a lot, for smaller time people. Stuff is ridiculous. You video was great however despite my moaning.

No threshold for physical nexus, If you have physical nexus you just need to register and collect and pay sales tax
So since I live in Texas but my dropshipping vendor is in another state , I’ll have to register on that state also?
So my business is based in Virginia I have inventory in Va and I sell online do I have to pay sales tax to Va on every order I ship to another state?
Yes if you have a physical nexus then you need to pay the state and local sales tax
