I feel like in the first one there was a lot of out of character-ness and things weren't all that thought threw. This was great and explained a lot of things. Actions made more sense in this. The writer has very much improved.
Thank you so much! Yeah, my writing back then was very mediocre, and I'm kinda happy I put this one on the backburner for 3 yrs, because it would've been horrid had I continued.
A lot of the inspiration for this one came from Resident Evil, but I wanted to avoid the zombie trope, so I made the virus turn Twilight into more of a ravenous and aggressive monstrosity than a zombie.
RD's final form is more of a hybrid creature that I left for the redaers/listeners to decide and envision themselves, because I won't be making anymore adaptations to this story, so the viewers get to build their own personal ending as to whatever RD's final form looked like and what would await Equestria in the near future

From the first story, assuming it's the same story line, Twilight Sparkle was the last survivor in Ponyville, but they never specified what happened between the climax of the story and the moment she passed.
She didn’t. She started turning into whatever Rainbow Dash turned into, possibly from her experiments with Spike’s blood. When the rescue team found her body, and the leader realized what the result was, he had her put down. It’s possible the mind of Twilight was already gone.

This also reminds me of the "Cough" Creepypasta, cause of the first symptom; coughing
you know. considering that fic never really tells us the exact symptoms of whatever is going on. it could very well be a good alternate au situation to this. where two and her friends aren't the first to get the virus and they are able to hide. could be an interesting concept.

I love this kind of horror, like a journal or record.
So I'm putting my thoughts as to what she created, I'm guessing is a more deadly virus but of a mixture with the nature of a dragon but more aggressive, resulting in to what it is in this story , great narration sparrow can't wait to hear more soon......that is if you servived....hehehehe.....
And the truth is that I don't actually know what Twilight unintentionally created. That is left for the viewers to clarify ^^

@@Sparrow9642 I believe she created a more violent version of the virus that appears in 28 Days Later or 28 Weeks Later since I noticed that the virus follows patterns of the virus in the film secondly the first version of the virus cost internal bleeding bursting of blood capillaries in the eye intense bleeding from The mouth and the nose also aggression although this does not appear until she gave the failed version of The Cure to Rainbow Dash she still seems to have some form of higher brain reasoning until later on when that finally fails her and she regresses back to a violent animal if the virus goes on the way that it does eventually she'll die and everyone else will die although this was still a foregone conclusion although now she may be a more dangerous version of herself and that's Rainbow Dash so she can probably fly around the entire planet real quick and infect a lot of people

If Twighlight is an alicorn and is immortal doesn't she not need to eat or drink many ppl would say no. Wat about how luna got sent to the moon there was no food or water there and she survived 1000 years.
Eating for an Alicorn is just a habit from there young years before becoming an alicorn. And Celestia even said once that they don't need to eat since there immortal

the ending of this contradicts 28 pranks later the aftermath, it ends with twilight jumping to her death i believe. but twilight doesnt kill herself like she does in the end of 28 pranks later aftermath she is in the bunker. but in 28 pranks later aftermath u can hear her bones snap, which isnt possible because she is in the bunker
The ending to the aftermath doesn't exactly show HOW she died. It simply implies she did die, therefore it doesn't contemplate. She was terminated by the team, and termination can imply a lot of ways to die.

The audio is set that way for a reason. It's meant to sound like a recording, and recordings normally don't sound clear, but more like someone talking through a walkie talkie

I was right when i said that with some more lore expansion, character writing, and a few mkyre tweaks here and there, this story could become much stronger. The sequel is definitely a step up from the first one, and with further entries, this could be a very entertaining series. I loved this story.

Didn't twilight say she was immortal? If so why would she need to be worried about dying? Unless the writer just forgot that she was
Even immortals can be killed. The virus took longer to kill her than the rest of the ponies, because her immortality was trying to fight it, but eventually failed to counter the effects. A virus, stab through the heart, etc can kill an immortal. She isn't completely invincible.

Comparing to show these stories are somewhat better. I never really got into it I liked discord's character. I tried to watch series ended up every season i would skip like 8 sometimes more episodes. ^^`

Wow that was trash the plot holes man so many plot holes Why did the CDC act soon when the town of ponyville is like 10 mile from canterlot. Also the fact that Fluttershy would kill something in the last story make no sense. And the last thing is does no one care about the twilight she send like 5 letter to her basically 2 mom and sun but was like sorry fam like wtf
First, Canterlot is NOT ten miles from Ponyville, and it's explained why they didn't act faster in Celestia's first response letter. Have you even seen the show, because if you did, you'd know that in one episode when they travel to Canterlot, it's an overnight trip. Second, Fluttershy killed Rarity as an act of mercy. Both were doomed regardless of what happened from there forward, so it was a proper act as a friend. Third, keep in mind, Celestia is a princess, meaning she gets A LOT of messages and deals with tons of paperwork, which was explained clearly in the story the reason for delay, and as I've stated MULTIPLE times before on why Celestia didn't save Twilight, if she were to go to Ponyville she'd be infected, just like the rest, eventually resulting in death, just like Twilight and the rest of Ponyville.
