I live in St. Pete but have spent the last two months in Colorado for job training and every chance I get I drive an hour and a half to Cheesman Canyon, hiking in and out for the shot at a gold medal 20+ inch wild brown. I am limited on time, get back after midnight exhausted, having to wake up early for work, but I HAVE to go. I tell myself I'm done, and then the next chance I get, I drop everything and go again. I caught a few close to 20 inches, and on my last and final attempt I got the one I was looking for, fought it for about 10 minutes, wrapped it around a boulder, got it off, and lost it at my feet lol. I have literally been living this video! I got into fishing two years ago watching your vids, and I still enjoy watching them just as much even with all the ups and downs!
Don’t over think it Lawdawg. You have a following for a reason. And I can assure you it’s not because of how many fish you pull in but because your authentic and your filmmaking is incredible. Keep grinding and keep filming. Your still the inshore 🐐 champs champ!

I fish in this location (near the nuclear power plant on Hutchinson Island). Before they put in those drainage pumps the fishing was much, much better. Now it's kind of hit or miss but i was impressed with the grouper you brought in. When the conditions a are right (mid-fall, changing weather/cold fronts or in early spring) the snook and tarpon fishing is really amazing there. It is must better with a boat or kayak as there are dozens of intertwining creeks in those areas. Thanks for the great video.

That’s why is called “fishing” and not “catching”, the struggle is REAL, especially in summer. Fishing is a way to connect with nature, be involved in the natural process ( which includes turning that snapper into an epic fish sammich, maybe next time). Thanks for taking time to to just be in the moment.
I know it's not your thing but I hope you don't give up on the kayak. Nothing takes us on your adventure quite like it. It takes you places you couldn't otherwise go. I know it's strenuous, and can be frustrating (I have one) but the best moments are magic. I hope you will give it another shot when it's less windy and brutally hot. Even if just here and there.

dude im local and this last month has been my best fishing in a while. over 40 largemouth bass, a few big peacocks and some snakeheads. all from the bank lets link up! i also have a scout sportfish 175 for the deeper fishing

Have you considered creating a documentary series to create solutions for increasing the quantity and quality of fish for recreational fishermen? I’ll bet you could team up with John Skinner, Salt Strong, Key West Kayak Fishing, and others to help us recreational guys!
