Another good one Will. What sets you aside from other fishing videos out there is that yours is very unique. It's like the weather. It's very dynamic and constantly changing. You're catching different species of fish and different ways of catching them. You interact with other fishermen. Making friends along the way. And my favorite of all, your skills in the kitchen. I know you own a restaurant but I think you can cook any seafood and make the most finicky seafood eater out there eat anything. Love it!!!

Remember they are married now LOL I am sure that was just you on auto pilot. The views of NY on long island are amazing. As when I think of NY I think of the city. Good catching! I also wonder if stuffing the squid with some other protein might give it a nice kick. No doubt it is awesome as you prepared it though. Any thoughts Will on what would be a good stuffer protein for squid?

Learned of your channel from Tug Trash which I have been following and really like. This was a fun episode. Once while grouper fishing out from St Marks squid kept attaching to our jigs with cigar minnows. Caught a bunch. As a Miami native I fished the Keys and Key West for many years before moving to Tallahassee. El Siboney is my all time favorite Cuban restaurant. I will be back.

Always say yes when people offer you food!! Great way to meet new people and experience new things. I am scared of squid, it is either perfectly tender or like chewing on rubber bands. I may try the marinade/grill method. I have some squid lures from Athens when I was there in the 90's....a fishing shop. The lures were way more fancy than yours......very cool looking. Have a good one! Love the video!

17:25 in Maine the smaller squid are the ones i usually catch. most of the ink in those are behind the eyes. I puncture the eyes and drain that. It is slightly less concentrated than the ink sac but still is a great source. Then I do like you did, carefully cutting the ink sac out, but unless its a big size squid; they usually don't have too much in there.

What is ‘seasoned’ rice vinegar seasoned with? I had always heard that the squid ink sack was quite salty, is that true? I know chefs love their salt, so as an amateur, I was wondering.
