I used this foundation with the maybelline baby skin primer and it really helped with not showing my pores. I also suggest trying the color 203 true beige i think it'll blend better with your tan. :) BTW your eye makeup looks super cute. I've been debating wether to wear makeup to gym but i've seen so many girls with minimal makeup so you just convinced me its not a big deal to wear makeup to the gym. :) Thanks

I use the Rimmel stay matte along side my primed and poreless primer. I have very dry skin and yet this doesn't cling to any dry spots that I may have. I too agree that it can maximize your pores if used alone, but it does have great coverage and the primer really helps. The texture is so nice and it lasts me all day long. I also have a hard time finding the correct shade with certain drugstore foundations but I actually found the perfect shade with Rimmel without having to mix foundations. Good video!
honestly this color looks perfect on you and it makes you look so flawless and if it sinks into your pores it wont look bad but if it start looking cakey or chipping thats when its super noticable your wearing foundation
I have super oily skin and the Becca Ever Matte Primer has been AMAZING! Also I've had issues with large pores and I switched my cleanser to the Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Aging Gel Cleanser and Philosophy's Hope in a Jar and my skin has never looked better. I've tried so many different cleansers but this one is life changing. It's a little drying at first but once your skin gets used to the AHA and your skins pH value balances out you skin will be amazing!
I love Rimmel and wanted to love these. When I wore them together the foundation got patchy. It shows every hint of dryness! When I used it with Baby Skin as a primer it sunk into my pores as well. Definitely a winter and not summer foundation, but the Rimmel Match Perfection is still my favorite Rimmel foundation!

I use this foundation all the time. I've had trouble finding my right color tho. I'm pretty sure i went through 2 or 3 foundation colors and i'm down to ivory. I don't use a brush to apply it or a primer base. I use a beauty blender instead and it's perfect for my skin. It makes me look so flawless

If you find a foundation sinks into your pores, try applying it with your fingers. I have a few foundations that I love everything but they accentuate my pores, but using my fingers to apply and blend the foundation in really minimizes the look of pores.
+Kristen Goulette I don't think people plan their lives around the gym. Not everyone has the time to go back home and take the makeup off to please others.
Casey you have GOT to try No7 Beautifully Matte primer! Ohhhhh my goodness, I have extremely oily skin & it keeps me matte literally all day long. Please try it!
Another makeup guru said she felt the rimmel primer actually made the foundation not apply as smoothly. You should try a different primer + porefessional and see if that changes your mind! Beautiful as always!
I've heard that the matching primer doesn't work well with the foundation so maybe try a different primer? like porefessional or baby skin instead of the rimmel one??
If you use a finishing powder and a brush, you can use circular motions to buff away the appearance of large pores. It worked for me near the sides of my nose and T zone. Also, this foundation has amazing coverage for someone needing to cover redness. The only downside, if you have even slightly dry skin, it will make that stand out like a sore thumb.

I love the primer. It's the first product that I've used that actually keeps my oil controlled. Most products I have to blot a few times a day with, but this one stays matte the majority of the day. I haven't tried the foundation yet but I might have to pick it up.
I bought this foundation and primer after I saw your haul! The primer is awesome the foundation is ok. I found it separated in some spots around my nose. I do like that rimmel added lighter colours to the line. Normally their lightest one is to dark for me. Great job with the review!

I have very oily, acne prone skin with large pores and this is my favorite foundation. I haven't had any issues with it. Then again, my second favorite is Revlon Colorstay Whipped. I think we just like different foundations. The Kat Von D one broke me out like crazy.

I do find that it creases in the little lines around my mouth but I can just use a little brush like the P80 to stipple it and make it smooth again. I don't see any issue with my pores when I wear it. The only problem I have with it is that all the colours are so pink!
This is my holy grail foundation. I have a reaaally oily t-zone, especially my nose and i helps me to stay relative matte. I agree with that it makes the pores look bigger, and my pores are quite big around my nose, but I don't think it's a huge problem. Sometimes i'm working the foundation in to the pores with a smaller brush at it looks great!

If your that worried about your pores, I tried the new neutrongena pore refining cleanser and it is making my pores visibly smaller. I have had it for about 2 weeks and it's working great. It also helped with my blackheads as well. It use it just around my nose, forehead and chin because it's a little drying and I have dry skin. But it would probably work great for you because of your oily skin.

I've been testing this out for my blog for a week now using different brushes/sponges to apply and primers. The coverage and finish are beautiful, however, it does not stay matte long term. I've been using it with the Porefessional and it did not make a difference in keeping it from sinking into the pores. I also used the Nyx stay matte spray on top and the shine after about 10 hours of wear (a work day for me) is crazy. I'll probably keep using it like I said because it has such a beautiful finish. Oh and a lot of the shades are super pink.
Yeah I would have loved to see the close-up finish on her pores so I could get an idea if it might happen to mine as well. But great review regardless, Casey!

I've noticed the off color on mine to and even though it was to dark it still blended in and looked natural. By far my favorite foundation though very light weight but still full coverage and it stays on all day and still matte. I recommend using Maybelline Babyskin Primer it really minimizes pores I just really like the combination together
I just got this foundation and love it. It was a bit too yellow for me but I mixed it with my Becca foundation- to make it thicker and give it more coverage- and it's amazing. I think I'm just going to mix it with my more sheer foundations to get more coverage. Overall, love it.
I have large pores as well and my skin is very similar to yours in color and redness. Don't get mad but I watched this video in HD on my 27 in iMac and I actually was able to notice some of your pores towards the end on my screen which I am glad for because sometimes things like that can't be seen especially in smaller screens. Having that issue of big pores would also make that a big no no for me... I hate when that happens too so I definitely will stay away from this unless I used a pore minimizing primer. I heard from another first impression that it works better with other primers but thank you for your review. Extremely helpful!
Your video is the first one on this product that I agree with.....I thought it was me, but I have large pores and have tried it with good primers and still have the same huge pores showing through...have used different methods of applying, but no better results.....will return it for sure!
Hi!! I've used it with benefit pore-professional and it worked great. I didn't need to blot or touch up with powder after working an 11 hour day!! I have issues with larger pores, but just figured it comes with age...48!!! Overall I liked this foundation, I'm in shade 100 ivory. Thanks for your videos!!!
I got a free tester of this from rimmel and I wasn't a huge fan of the consistency (maybe I'm just too used to my L'oreal true match) but when I used it with my anti-chaffing gel instead of the amazing but oh so expensive smashbox I found that it didn't sink into my pores. It stayed matte all day, something that never happens as my skin is so oily, and I was honestly in love with it until after 4 or so days of using it I started to break out :( so now I'm keeping it for odd days when I need the full coverage
I need this in my life I don't have large pores or barely any but I'm ver oily and I don't like thick foundations but kind of medium to full coverage! This jut might be my foundation! Thanks a lot Casey! Definitely going out and getting the two right NOW!!!!

Maybe try it with the Maybelline Baby Skin primer underneath? Ive heard that it works wonders on reducing pores!

Try buffing the foundation in circular motion rotating back and forth with ur foundation brush that always helps minimize the look of my pores!
