    I live here! I use to put in at that exact ramp all the time until I got a private one a couple miles south. How cool to stumble across you

    I'm very much looking forward to how far your channel grows! I'm a Raleigh native; which makes it so much more entertaining watching you fish the same places I've launched from. Would love to join you for a couple casts if you ever want some company.

    I fished that creek from the time i was old enough to walk. That old draw bridge was a landmark. Have you been up in jinks creek. I now live in Truckee, Ca.

      That's cool! I haven't been up into Jinks creek, but we have fished the mouth of it where is opens into the intracoastal. We will have to go up into it sometime and try it out!

    How fast was the wind blowing ; what kind of mph of wind is to rough in the inlet referring to icw?

    • @adventuresinthesouth
      @adventuresinthesouth  6 месяцев назад

      It was only 15-20 mph winds. It was breezy but not too bad. Made for a lot of wind noise though!

      Thanks for the info I’ve scared to attempt to make the trip due to such decision of the wind speed forecast ;; lake here in NC are terrible at high winds and white capping waves

      @@calm-water-fishing2x937I’ve fished nc lakes most of my life. The lakes are treacherous sometimes. I’ve never once felt unsafe in the ICW. Now, leaving the inlet headed into the ocean, that’s a different story on some days.
