🥴 flying at an affordable cost has become as difficult to understand as rocket science. Airlines have added so many variables that just don't make sense and, sometimes, they even threaten to sue the passengers who try to smartly "cheat" their system codes (especially cheating the flight with stopovers). Thank you for clarifying some important hacks an average traveller wouldn't figure out by themselves.
Hey, good to see you in the comments. It really can seem like that with airlines these days, but the good news is you've got 5 more hacks to try out for your next booking!
I am flying to Tahiti in November with my fiance for a cruise. Any advice in getting the best price? I am not to savvy when it comes to computers. So any advice would be greatly appreciated once again. Thank u
All the hacks and tips from my videos will help you out with your search. High chance you’ll find the best prices via SFO if you’re traveling from the domestic US.
Summer will mean peak season pricing and reduced award space, but a good start is with a simple search for your dates to see what cash fares look like.
I use google flights, but for some reason when I look at price history I dont have that multi-coloured line with the “green” section that you mentioned
@@DavidGTravels …from Canada.. yeg to Bkk, but I do get the price comparison chart. It’s the little green line on the screen that tells you if it’s the right time to book. That doesn’t show up on my screen. Ive looked on my iPad and my PC and it’s not there. You show it just before 2 minute mark of the video
@@DavidGTravels…two things that I just discovered. It will show me if the price is typical or not only if I book economy ( I’m booking prem econ) and if the return flight is no more than 4 weeks after the departing flight….a head scratcher …🤔
@@antiprogpragmatist859nice, I’m actually in BKK right now 😂 I gave it a try in a mobile browser and get the chart with the color coding to show for economy and business. But it’s not showing for premium eco, perhaps not enough data for premium eco on that route.
@@DavidGTravels ..Thailand is my annual winter trip to escape the Canadian cold for a couple of months. There’s closer places to go, but I fell in love with the place about 20 years ago
So if i want to fly travel from Stockholm to Bangkok what county would be the best choice for VPN when I'm buying from Stockholm and which country to choose when I'm buying trip back?
@@DanijelNedeljković-b6v If you're just booking simple round-trip flights and don't want to start/end somewhere other than Stockholm or visit somewhere other than Bangkok, then there's only A (departure) and B (destination).
Ok not going to lie. You you spoke so fast you lost me. On the segment a,b,c portion, how are you supposed to get home? I’m trying to find the best affordable flight to Lagos, Nigeria in March next year but I don’t have air miles or points. Can you help? I’m leaving out of california. I’ve watched your video hoping for help but I’m more lost now than before. Smh
You would book separate tickets to fill in each segment as needed. You could just go from point a to b, b to c, and c to a, but you might not be able to get as high of value as in the example.
