A legal assistant in Connecticut lost their job of 30 years after a cyber attack on their law firm. Russian hackers intercepted money in a real estate transaction which caused the firm to lose their largest client. This led to layoffs including the legal assistant at 61 years old with only two weeks severance. They discuss typo squatting domains used by hackers and the firm's failure to have proper cybersecurity including unpatched devices. The assistant is unsure how to list this job loss on their resume and seeks advice on next steps in their career at their age.

That law firm failed their clients. You are right in a gang of your videos about do not be loyal to these companies. My last last one tried to pull that fast one on me, trying to get me to more automotive stuff outside of my scope for perusing cybersecurity.
