What did you take away from this job search breakdown?
You gotta put the work in. Nothing will be givens and you gotta PROVE YOURSELF!
@@beastalvarado always bro
Quality over Quantity! Be intentional on the jobs you apply for and make sure your resume matches what they’re looking for. It’ll require more work but it will pay off better than just blindly applying to every “easy apply” tech role on the job boards.
Do your research about the company
Find a role that aligns with your skillset
Don't be misleading about your work title. Be transparent on resume to give yourself the best outcome to get an ideal response
Be intentional with the job search. You gotta be able to focus and target exactly what you want. You can get a job playing the numbers game but it’ll most likely not be what you want. You increase the quality of opportunities by being strategic and specific.
Job hunting in 2024 been a lot of bs going on.
@@gregglira9947 it goes in cycles
Q2 is heating up
@@TechTualChatter I doubt it, jobs been playing politics all year just like the Feds. The gig is up
@@gregglira9947 my clients have been getting hired in Q2
Hiring typically gets better in Q2 and Q3
What happens if I have projects but no certs? I find it's hard to get a job as well. Im working on certs, but im not a great test taker. Hopefully, It will get better now that im laid off and can 100% focus on restudying for them
Just have to be more strategic with the job search but it’s possible
